I have seen where some people have gotten stuck on there ride on Harry Potter. If this happens will TM's offer you a re-ride without having to wait in line again? Because if this happens I want to get back on and experience it without getting stopped. :)

I have never been offered to ride it again when they had technical issues. (including being stuck for up to 20 min)

Me either and I've been stuck for quite a while multiple times.

The only time I've ever gotten anything like that was being stuck on SheiKra for 10 minutes at the top of the second hill in a blinding rainstorm. Busch gave us a couple of front of the line passes to return later.

when I was there in June, after the ride got stuck and then restarted, the just reloaded the people who had been stuck first and then put people in line next.

I also noted the ride seemed to break/stick in the afternoons and evenings more. So maybe if you ride in the morning it won't matter.

Huh--I was under the (mistaken) assumption that it was almost standard industry practice. While they may not offer, I would not be shy about asking to reride again in that situation. The worst they could say is no.

During soft openings, I got stuck three times. The first time was in the dragon area and we were stuck for quite a bit, but when we finished the ride, we didn't get anything. The second time was right by the end of the ride, but they still gave us a onesie (a one-time express pass, good for only one attraction but with a stamp indicating that we could do Forbidden Journey). The third time was another long one where they had to turn on the lights. Got another onesie this time too.

I think a onesie is better than a reride because then you can use it on other attractions if that one time on FJ (or whatever attraction it may be) was enough.

We were there on the last Sunday in Sept. Since we were staying onsite we took advantage of early entry only to discover the ride was temporarily down for some reason. After waiting in line 90 min we were able to ride. Having ridden the ride 3 times prior I noticed immediately the sound was not working. I really felt sorry for those who waited in line this long and would probably never realize they were not getting the full ride experience. After exiting our ride vehicle we mentioned to the nearby TM who thanked us for letting them know our car was without sound, put a sticker on said car, and then instructed us to exit through the child swap area and ride again without a wait.

Due to the nature of the ride it is somewhat normal and there are "show" provisions in the ride to accommodate you when your are stopped for a some issues; however, if the ride experiences a technical issue these may not function. If you feel that you have been "shorted" your full experience, as to re-ride

I got stuck a few nights ago in the second-to-last spider room (just before you get attacked by the Whomping Willow). I took the opportunity to appreciate the technical aspects of the ride (the arm, how the other car ahead of me was tilted). The ride resumed after about a minute and I was not offered a reride or anything. I thought the delay was cool...

It happens the same to us in Spider Man. They didn't offer to re-ride, but then we told about the problem we had experienced and they did just the same : took us to the child swap and we took another ride without waiting in line. It was very nice :goodvibes

I wish I had thought of that - we got stuck twice this morning. Fortunately, it was still a short line so we just went through he queue again (early hotel access hour). Second time went without a hitch.

We got stuck on it yesterday afternoon. My husband had gone on ahead of us and was somewhere in the middle. My son and I were in a car in the loading area and were two cars back from going into the ride. The ride stopped for between 5 and 10 minutes.

My husband was given a fast pass but my son and I were not. I guess they figured that our ride wasn't actually messed up like my husband's was since we hadn't actually gone in when the breakdown occurred.

The only thing I didn't agree with was that his fast pass couldn't be used for the FJ ride...I mean if you're giving him a pass because his ride was messed up, shouldn't the ride he missed out on be an option for the fast pass?

Lori P. :)

Tell the TM and you can re-ride.

We got stuck on the ride for over an hour back in June before the official opening. They had to come with stairs to each section to get people off. We actually thought it was neat, but they did give us a pass to ride again when it was working.
