Getting reservation alerts. I’m not fast enough!

For those who have set up alerts for dining reservation how do you get there before its taken?
I have Space 220 and Topolino’s breakfast alerts set up.
I have gotten several text messages, but I’m always to late and it’s gone!
I click the link in the text and have my Disney password saved.
Any tricks to getting there quick?

Top tip is never to sleep. By the time my bleary eyes register that I’ve received the text alert, unlocked my phone, and logged in, the ressie is long gone.

I have TP send me a text instead of email alert. My text messages are set up with an audible alert so I always hear the cell no matter who sends it. I leave the tab open on laptop and/or desktop… that’s all I can think of. It’s rare for me to miss an ADR using this method.

I guess I should leave the Disney site up and already signed in. I usually always sign out.

I missed Space220 lunch this morning by a few minutes, so I know how you feel. Just re set the alert. Also, genie will tell you in park if there are any walk up reservations available. I don't have any tricks, except when an alert came on my watch (I was away from my phone), I quickly went to the app and searched for the reservation by restaurant.

With all the crazy lines and exhaustion from the pandemic, people have really figured out that dining is a part of the Disney experience and can still be a magical (in an otherwise chaotic day).

Yes! I can’t see without my glasses either. One alert I was driving. It’s not easy grab them I even added my teen to get alerts too. She almost got Space 220, it had a click option, then poof it was gone!

Just to ditto...you got to be quicker than the next person. And that next person is probably a pro.

At the bottom half of the request form leave the email notification box blank.Immediately under that you’ll see a box to enter your telephone number, do so and submit.

You sign up for them and they send a text or email when the reservation you want comes available. There are a few different ones. I use ***********, there is one from Touring Plans, and there is mouse watcher. I have never used that one.

Missed 2 more alerts. I have never had so much trouble getting reservations.

Try first thing in the mornings, like 5:45am. That's usually when the system is updated. My 60 day mark was Sunday morning. I started at 5:45am, and I got everything I wanted for Christmas week. 7 Reservations by 6:00am! My only one left is a Processional package, which will be released tomorrow morning.

Also, just keep trying multiple times per day. That's what I've done in the past, including one other Christmas week trip where I got my final few reservations the week before!

I have been waking up every morning at 3:45MST to try and get dining for our Christmas trip. I have never seen it so bad that I can’t get anything by the time it opens at 4MST

I’m starting to worry about our trip and being able to have a sit down meal
