Getting ready to book with in the week.....

Hello...need suggestions or just critique....

having me, my wife, and son, 29, 34, and 5 at time of trip, and my parents both 59, and possibly my MIL 60-61 i dunno...

may 2005, i want park time and cruise so im going to do 1 of the last 2 land sea packages 4night land 3 night cruise. This is the 2 weeks before labor day....

1.which week is better?

plusses. im going to be in disney world when episode 3 of star wars comes out...near star tours, during starwars weekends, in starwars nerd nirvana....My wifes ok as long as she gets beach, sand and water ( castaway key) and my son..well hes as big as a mickey freak as i am.....

My parents could care less about the parks but just want to experience my sons first trip. my dads a comfort freak ( can you say anal?) he likes qwiet rooms.....keep this in reference for later...mom has walking problems....

MIL is just sick of not doing anything...( she goes grey hound for the fun of it....=| ) so she'll be easy to please if she decides to go...has walking problem....

I want the cat 10 rooms on deck 5. close to the kids areas for my son and not to deep into the ship that we have to walk a great expance to get anywere in particular...

2. how loud are these rooms???

land sea package is sun night through sat night.. i want to go down thursday night so i need to add thrurs, fri and sat night rates on this....I dont mind the all stars....as long as its got a pool my family is happy.. due to dad, actualy told them to fly down sat night.

3. is this a good decision?, i know it would be cheaper but due they do legnth of stay passes for only 3 nights?, or should i just buy 2 days of park tickets for fri sat. ( water park on fri, probably mgm for sat.( got those starwars weekends after all..=D) thinkin bout la noubia for fri night also...

and

4. if you have the trip insurance through dcl booking can you delete a passenger if she does not decide to go..( MIL)?


going to book within the next weeks need help on what to present to my parents...

If the Cat. 10 rooms on the 5th floor you are talking about are the Secret Porthole Rooms, I wouldn't count on them being available. Of course, on the shorter cruises they don't book up as fast as the 7 days. We are on a 7 day in September, and our friends tried to get one of the SPRs a couple months ago, and they were all gone. Have you called to see if they are available? You might want to check (you don't have to book, just call Disney Cruise Line and check on the availability of those rooms).

Can't answer anything about the cruise, but when SW Ep 2 was released - they did not have Star Wars weekends - presumably because there was so much activity going on around the country.

Just so you aren't disappointed if they dont' have them.
