Hi, I'm Kandi and I'm new to these boards. I'm getting ready for my 2nd Western tour on the Magic.
I'm traveling w/DH, and our 2 DS's (8 and 5). We had such a GREAT time on our first cruise in 2003, that we convinced some friends to join us on this trip. They have 2 boys of their own (9 and 7). DH flying out on Thursday morning ... the lucky duck gets to spend 2 days at Epcot w/his Dad enjoying the Wine and Food Festival. The rest of us will fly out Friday night and meet DH at the airport. We've rented a van to get us all to the Radisson for the night.
We've been assigned to staterooms 2541 and 2543 ... anyone ever stayed in these rooms? Any reviews? Good, bad, ugly
It looks like they are right under Rockin' Bar D. I'm wondering how much noise we'll hear through the ceiling at night. When we went on our last cruise, the Dueling Piano bar and ESPN zone were still there. DH and I would take our boys to see the show before dinner, then to the family dueling piano show (which our kids loved!) before dinner. DH and I often found ourselves back at the dueling piano's after dinner when the kids were in their clubs. (Can you tell that JellyRolls is one of my favorite stops at WDW?) DH also spent a great deal of time wandering into the ESPN zone, especially when I was happily camped out by the pool w/my book
Are there any other fans of those two spots that have been on the ship since their departure willing to give me some advice on how to avoid withdrawal?I'm also getting conflicting info regarding Grand Caymen vs. Costa Maya ... actually I don't really care where we go as long as the weather is warm and the adult drinks are cold
