I thought I read something about paperwork you have to fill out if you are getting off the boat with a child who is not assigned to your cabin. Is this correct? Even if you are the child's parent? We are a family of six, so we are broken up into two cabins of three on paper (my husband and two kids in one and me and the other two kids in the other). But what if I disembark at CC or any port with one of the kids from the other cabin? Is this a problem???

Thanks for anyone who has info.

Yes, if your child is registered in a different room, then the responsible adult in THAT room must fill out a form for other adults (in different rooms) to be able to take the child off the ship with them.

Ok thanks. Where do you find and fill out the form? With us in two cabins, I can see that being a headache come Castaway Cay day especially. Definitely want to fill out the forms so either of us can take any of the kids off!

The Parental debarkation form is available during your online check in process. I believe you can also get them at Guest Services once onboard.

They also leave them in your cabin the day before docking in any port in your itinerary. And there is information about it on the in cabin TV and as a last minute effort when you are in your meeting place for a lort excursion. :)
Disney has you covered on this. Lol

That's great to know. On other cruises we were in different cabins but I think we must've always stayed together. Now that the kids are older, we'd be more likely to split up!

Also on the Castaway Cay day many of the teens sleep late and want to get of the ship later in the day after their parents have gone ashore. Remember to sign the paper or the kids won't be able to get off the ship.

I have a soon to be 14 year old son and a 15 year old daughter, but so far they still hang out with us on port days. I can see this changing very soon and especially at CC with their fun teen excursion they offer. :)
Have a great cruise!

Yes....I can see them coming and going on CC!!!

We did filled out ours right at Guest Services and they entered it into the computer right away, so that you can be sure the changes take effect.

As you can see on the form, it gives you a lot of control over the details . Who can take them off, or by themselves, and at which ports.
