Getting MYW tickets Prior to check in???

Have a Disney MYW package w/ dining & 10 day Park Hopper tickets but will be arriving in the Orlando area before then to stay with my sister & would like to start using tickets 2 days before CBR checkin.

Travel agent says that the tickets can be used for up to 14 days after initial use which means I can use them AFTER check out but NOT BEFORE check in because tickets are linked to hotel key.

Anyone have any experience making Disney Magic occur before check in & getting the tickets early?

Go to the Caribbean Beach Resort, and ask. If the cast member doesn't know or says they can't do it, ask for a supervisor.

I had confirmation from an Animal Kingdom Lodge cast member that tickets CAN be pulled from a package before check in date.

This may be a cast member by cast member thing, but if you'll be in the area anyway, it never hurts to ask.

We have been over and over with this same situation, and finally talked to someone in GS to get it resolved. Apparently, the ticket part of a MYW plan is available 5 days before check in. We were advised to go to GS at the Ticket and Transportation area at the Magic Kingdom and they would be able to issue our tickets on a separate card, which would not be our room key. So that's what we're going to do! She said most CMs don't know about this or can't be bothered because it's extra work, but it CAN be done.

that is super info! I will go to the TTC to get our tickets early. I was also told that we couldn't do this because it was tied to our room res. It will save us checking in and then back tracking to head to the parks early.

Thanks for everyones ideas. swbmom - sure hope GS will work with us on this. It totally changes our plans for our trip. We would love to visit the various resorts when we first get to Florida ( 4 days before we check in) We also want to see MK while it's still decorated for Christmas. This will help make it happen.
