Getting Frustrated with CR IPO

I stay concierge for the food! And, use of the lounge. We love the convenience of continental breakfast in the lounge. We even sometimes make a meal of the wine and appetizers in the evening. Go ahead and flame me! As if I care! Concierge is very expensive and it's not worth it just to have my ADR's made for me. But, it is worth it for the food, IMO. And, I try to consume plenty of it when I stay concierge!

I don't depend on concierge folks to make my plans -- I figure my ADR's are too important to leave them to anyone else. What I'm paying for is food and drink throughout the day. And, the lounge is nice. I get up early and like to get coffee and the paper while others in the room are still sleeping. Concierge is useful for that.
 
I feel that good customer service in any industry should have a turn around time of 1 hour or less. If IPO is too busy then they need to hire more CMs.

I agree maybe they do need to hire more CM. The only time that I have been able to call and get right through is when I called on a Sunday afternoon.

We will be at the CR CL on 19th-26th. I will be the one with a little blonde princess and one small rowdy boy.
 
i thought that certain people worked on certain reosrts though
i was told that certain people do cr/gf
some poly/wl all at the ipo offices though
there are alot fo people there and i am sure they are all busy
then a group does all the epcot resorts
for what people pay they should not have to wait for days
 

The least they could do is send you an email stating that they got your ADR requests. That takes all of about 1 minute to do. I'm dealing with BWI IPO right now and I have nothing but praise. When I needed to switch some ADRs, I heard back within 15 minutes. They have even called me to see if I needed anything extra since my trip is so close.

You have a right to complain. This service is not cheap.

see thats how it should be
we are gonna stay tehre and no one got back to us for days and so i switched everything to WL CL
i should not have to wait for days to get a response to an email
 
Well, I finally got a phone call. This poor guy calls and says he has my confirmation numbers in response to my first message. (He called at 6 pm tonight) I asked if he got my second message saying I made my own ADRs. "OOOh, here it is." I told him I already had my confirmation numbers because after not getting any responses, I got worried and made them myself. No apology. Just OK, can I do anything else for you? I said no thank you, and he said have a magical evening. I didn't go into the problem because I figured there would be a better chance of getting a manager on the phone on Monday.


I am really discouraged. He didn't even realize that they hadn't done anything. I think he just was a weekend guy who saw the message, checked the computer and thought they made the ADR's.

My only concern is that I might have two sets out there now. I don't really think so, because as of 4pm yesterday nothing was in the computer.
 
Another small update. I just got a phone call and they were really confused. They had me confused with the AAA agent. They said they couldn't find any of my emails, although my computer shows them as sent, and I verified the email address to which I sent them. She seemed really confused about me saying I kept getting a voice mail machine every time I called. I verified the phone number also. It was correct.

Anyway, everything is booked. She did say that dining is booking up VERY fast for Dec. I looked into switching restaurants for our Fantasmic package. We have a 4:40 at Hollywood and Vine, and I wanted to see if anything was available at Mama Melrose. The only time available was 3:40! It is still less than one week since my ADR window opened! (should she of offered to keep a note that we wanted to switch and to watch if anything becomes available later?)

So, the moral of the story is, if you are going during the busy time, and don't hear from the IPO, do it yourself!!!! I am so glad I listened to a particularly wise diser who told me to go ahead and book my ADR's! THANK YOU Alicnwondrln !!!!!! :worship:

We are going 11/30 - 12/5 and I called the morning of my 180 day mark. Things were already starting to book up. Le Cellier was not available at the time I wanted but close to it.

I have been dealing with IPOs since March for my trip and with you going at xmas I knew it could be an issue. I am so happy that you got everything done. I would still want to talk to a manager about what happened. I am sending you a PM
