getting from WL to Hoop Dee Doo

Can anyone tell me the best way to get from WL to the Hoop Dee Doo Review show at Fort Wilderness?

How much time should we allow to make it to the 7:15pm show?

Take the little boat that runs between MK, WL and FtW. It drops you off about 2 mins from the hall where HDDR is at. Much easier than taking a bus..that's very convoluted. As for timing, you need to be there early, to checkin at the podium, so plan on arriving about 6:50ish. This means you need to be down at the boat dock, at WL, by 6:15-30. Can someone remind which way the boat travels? I 'think' it goes to WL then over to FtW but I could be mistaken.

As of a couple months ago the boat that went between WL-FW-MK doesn't exist. The WL and FW don't share boats to the MK now. I'm not 100% sure, but I do believe there is a boat that runs between WL-FW-CR. If I'm wrong please correct me. I stayed at WL in early Dec..

You are correct, they no longer share the MK boat. The smaller launches do run between WL, FW and CR and I think they do run counter clockwise after 3pm, which mean FW is the first stop after WL. It also mean WL is the 2nd stop after FW on your way home.
There is a regular bus that goes between WL and FW, not really very confusing either. Go to the WL bus stop wait for and board the bus to FW, get off at the first stop in FW and walk the very short distance to PH. After the show, go back to the bus stop, wait for and board the bus for WL.

The bus can accomodate wheelchairs w/o folding the boat cannot.

If you're up for a walk, there is a path that goes between WL and FW. It's not as fast as taking the boat, but if it's light outside, it can be a pleasant jaunt. But don't try this if it's dark outside. We made this mistake in October, and it was a wee bit frightening, as the path is not lit.
