Getting from Epcot to Beach Club?

The info at the official site http://geobay.com/2f9d48 has both driving and walking times from epcot main gate to Beach Club Resort as 10 minutes? Is that accurate? That's quicker than taking the boat. Considering scheduling in a meal at Cape May. Would the walk path get us near the restaurant? Thanks!

It will take you more than ten minutes to walk to the BC from the front entrance of Epcot.

It will take you about 10 minutes, depending on how fast or slow you walk, to get to the BC from the International Gateway entrance of Epcot.

The Beach Club is the closest resort to Epcot and is accessible on foot using the International Gateway entrance in World Showcase (between France and England). It is probably less than a 5 minute walk from the turnstyle to the resort entrance.

The boat take a little longer because it has to stop first at the Boardwalk, before continuing to the Yacht/Beach Club, and evntually Swan/Dolphin and MGM.

Driving is also fast but the 10 minutes is from when you exit the parking lot. It will take another 10 minutes to catch a tram to your parking section, and then walk to your car.

Walking is almost always faster than the boats, no matter where you are going, unless you walk really slow. The only possible exception is that if you catch the boat just before it leaves, and you are heading to the Boardwalk (1st stop) then the boat could be faster.
