I know Disney has buses, but have heard not great things when trying to go to or from DD. How easy is it to catch a cab? What might it cost?

Thanks,
Kim

Epcot Resorts is just down the street from Downtown Disney... My guess is that a cab ride would cost in the area of $10 or so. There's always a Checker Cab or two out in front of Pleasure Island, and Planet Hollywood.

One thing to note, starting at 9:30pm or so, Downtown starts to get floater busses from other areas. These "SPECIAL" busses are assigned to help out the Downtown area in both directions. In addition, DTD recently converted over to Flex Dispatch, which should help with bus frequency.

On a personal note... every time I've worked a DTD shift, I've never had a problem, nor have I ever seen a bus run late. *shrug* I'm sure it happens, because I hear y'all tell me... but *shrug* things should be improving with Flex Dispatch.

One question in regards to DTD. This probably has been asked before but I havn't been able to find it.

How late do the buses run to and from ASSports and DTD. I'm getting in late next friday (10pm) and I'm hoping to go to Pleasure Island then. I also want to be able to get back to the resort.

Can you help?

Busses running TO Downtown Disney will run until 1:15, give or take.

Busses running FROM Downtown Disney will run until 2:00am. (Technically, 2:15, when PI clears.)
