I would like to schedule a character meal for DD while we are at DLR is Nov. I am thinking about scheduling the Storyteller's Cafe breakfast on a day that we plan to be at DCA. Is there a way to go directly from DCA to the hotel or do I need to go out the park entrance and around through Downtown Disney? I've looked at maps, but I can't tell for sure.

Thanks!

There is an entrance right by Grizzly River Run that takes you right to Storyteller.

I stayed at the GCH recently and noticed that the CMs were not letting non-hotel guests use the GCH entrance to DCA until 11AM. However going from DCA into GCH should be fine, but you might have to go back into DCA through the main entrance (after a short walk through DTD).

Thanks. We plan to be at DCA for an 8am opening and I am thinking about scheduling the brunch for around 11:30. As long as we can go straight from DCA to GCH, I don't mind a short walk around to get back in to the park.

Promise I am not stalking you! :rotfl2:

I just wanted to let you know that Storyteller's is probably the most sedate of all the character meals. They have fewer characters than most other meals and they are all woodland creatures, think Chip and Dale, Koda, Terk, etc. However, in my opinion, they have the better food. So if the purpose is to see a lot of characters, you may think about another restaurant. If you want the best food and a calmer atmosphere, you picked correctly. :thumbsup2

ETA: And I am pretty sure there will be no characters at 11:30, unless I am completely mistaken, the characters are only there for breakfast time. Sorry!

Stalk away! I need all the help I can get. I am in major planning mode, as you can probably tell! (although I am really supposed to be working right now. Shhh....)

I read that the character brunch was from 7am to noon. But, I will confirm with Disney Dining. And, you are right, I was trying to pick a character meal with better food. Characters for DD and better food for me. Also thought the location would be a nice mid-day break. Back to the research!
