I was wondering if anyone could help me. My boyfriend and I are going to the Hoop De Do Revue on May 7, 2007 Im so excited I hear the show is GREAT! :goodvibes

My question is what is the best way to get to the Ft. Wilderness to see the show from the Beach Club Resort using Disney Transportation??? Any suggests would be awesome THANKS...

46 Days and Counting

Hoop De Do is great, you will love it. IMHO the best way to get from the Beach Club to Hoop De Do would be by taxi. If you don't want to go that route, you could take a boat from the Beach Club Marina to Disney Studios and then get on the Fort Wilderness bus from there.

Thanks i do not have a problem taking a taxi if it is more convenient. I have been trying 2 research this and it seems like you have to take a couple of different modes ofdisney transportation to get there.

just curious are taxis readily available after the show?????

I've been studying this too, trying to figure out ways to resort hop without a car, relying only on disney transportation.

I think there may be several options:

1. From Beach Club, can you walk (15 minutes) to Epcot and then take the monorail to Ft. Wilderness? Does the monorail go there?

2. Or can you take the ferry to Epcot and then monorail to Ft. Wilderness?

3. Or ferry to either Epcot or MGM & then bus to Ft. Wilderness?

4. Or Bus to MK and then ferry to Ft. Wilderness?

The monorail does not go to Fort Wilderness. If you walk through Epcot and get on the monorail, you ride the monorail to TTC and will have to change to the resort monorail there. The resort monorail will make stops at the Poly, Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom and then the Contemporary. You get off at the Contemporary and walk out to the marina. There are boats that will take you to Fort Wilderness.

Also, the walk to Epcot from the Beach Club is only about 5 minutes but once you are in Epcot you have to walk to the front of the park to get to the monorail or the bus stops. That will take about 10 minutes are so.

I do not know how readily available the taxis are at Fort Wilderness for after the show. You might want to get the phone number and name of the driver that brings you there before the show and call for him as soon as the show ends. Just a thought.

I dont think you can take a monorail to Ft. Wilderness...You could walk through epcot take the monorail to MK and then take a boat to Ft. Wilderness...

I have no problem doing that either but on the way back it should be well after 10 om and EPCOT will be closed...if you take the monorail back to epcot can you walk through the park and get to the beach club???? so confused about this one sorry

can u take the monorail to the MK (instead of the contemporary) and then take a boat from MK to Ft. Wilderness...

I was thinking maybe I would spend the late afternoon at the MK until its time to go over to Ft. Wilderness for the Hoop De DO

Yes, you can take a boat from Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness.

If Epcot is closed you cannot walk through to get to the Beach Club.

From my research, if you're going to be in MK right before your show, then ferry to Ft. Wilderness. They apparently have a stop that goes to Ft. Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge.

After the show, ferry back to MK, and then bus back to Beach Club.

I heard that the ferry across Bay Lake back to MK is a good place to see the Wishes Fireworks if you time it correctly.

Just to let you know - After the Hoop De Doo Revue, they provide bus service directly from Fort Wilderness back to all the Resort Hotels.

i didnt know they would have buses for all the resorts after the show....PERFECT!!!!! thanks  :cloud9:

Your best bet would be to take the bus to MK and then take the boat over to Ft. W. The dock is just down the path from Pioneer Hall, where HDDR is staged. Leave about an hour or so to do this. Or, plan on being in MK the day of your HDDR show.
For the return to your resort....If you are going to the late show, you will be able to get a bus back to your resort. It won't be a direct bus though..it will be for S/D, YC/BC, BW, and possibly POP and CBR. If MK is still open, you would have to head back there, by boat and then take your resort bus. We have been to the middle show, and there were no buses provided to the resorts. We were told we had to go to MK, that it was only the late show that they had buses. But, that may be different at the times of year when MK closes earlier.

Im actually going to the 715 show....I bummed now there is no buses from the ft. wilderness to the beach club resort....didnt really feel like dealing with MK crowds after the show
