Getting breakfast in your PJs?

OK, I have a pair of Tinkerbell PJs. They are capri pants and a tank top. ON my last stay at POP, I walked down to the laundry room in my Tinkerbell PJs (with undergarments on) to put our clothes in the washing machines and then I walked back down to put them into the dryer. I say if they look like clothes...go for it and I would recommend wearing a bra as another poster said. There are LOTS of clothes today that people wear for reasons other than the ones they were intended for.

I have the same Tinkerbell thing only mine has a tink tee shirt. It looks like capri's and a tee shirt. I went to the laundry at WL in it (undies of course). It was late at night and I was washing clothes. I agree, if it looks like clothing who can tell? We are not talking about the nighties or teddies or tap pants and cami's, we are talking capris and tee shirts. Honestly, if the outfit wasn't on line listed as PJ's, I wouldn't have been able to tell it was pajamas.

Umm...because there is nothing physically revealing about cotton lounge pants and a t-shirt?

I agree with you there is nothing wrong with a Tshirt and lounge pants to grab some tea or Coffee early in the morning. Now I have to say I have never done it. I usually throw on nice sweats or shorts and a Tshirt and Undergarments are a must . Also would not wear slippers in public either as I usually just wear flip flops.

I can't believe how many moms I see walking their kids into school without a Bra on , looks really trashy IMO walking into your kids school. But that is a whole other topic. Anyway I don't really care what others do as long as they are appropriate.

Haven't read all the responses, but here is mine:
I would not do it.
It is tacky.
If I saw someone wearing PJs in the food court, I would think they looked like an idiot.
Who cares what I think?
If you want to do it, go ahead.

I doubt I would notice. And if I did I would think long and hard about why I had nothing better to worry about.

Dude I did it late at night when I wanted a midnight snack lol..Well I had on a tank and shorts that I lounge in...but seriously I have worn my lounge clothes around the resort to go to the food court to fill a resort mug up and grab some snacks..if you want to do it in the morning go for it!!

This is exactly how I feel!! I mean, I just can't believe how many people overwhelmingly care to the point of where they're offended by it. Someone described it as looking like a "charity" case, are you kidding me?

If it's how it works for YOU that's fine but I don't think it's fair to judge or label others. What makes PJ "sleeping" only clothes anyway?? They're made of the same material as other clothing.. cotton/spandex blend usually and they're just more roomier for comfort. So, because I'm not downstairs in a pair of jean shorts as opposed to my PJ lounge pants I offend you??

I think the world would be SO much better off if everyone stopped worrying about what other people are doing and enjoyed their own families, their own lives, etc.

I see people at the grocery store, as well as many other places with pajama pants and a t-thirt. I wouldn't wear it to the food court or the store or anything, but if other people want to, I think it's ok. You probably have more coverage in that clothing than in shorts and a tank top, or whatever.

I've never worn PJs to get anything from the food court, simply because we usually go by there on our way in from/to the parks. But I wouldn't be offended if I saw someone else in PJs there, so long as they were 'properly covered.' I am much more shocked by some of the skimpy attire I see in the parks than someone in their PJS. (Not to mention more focused on my family and not playing PJ police at the resort.)

Well now that's definately a new one on me, but nothing comes as a surprise anymore...I'm surprised there are not people policing what kind of toothpaste I use at the resort. I'm sure if I let it be known that I use Mentadent, someone could come up with a reason as to why it offends them.

(Then again, I am offended by things from time to time, so I guess I'm the pot calling the kettle black here...)

It's one thing to be offended because someone's rear is hanging out of their shorts but another because I'm wearing PJs while eating Mickey pancakes in public. Oh, the horror!

Mentadent, now there's a toothpaste I haven't used in years! I loved the push-application of that thing.

Whether you're just grabbing something to go or eating there, you're still going to a public place that serves food and that's no place for PJ's. Actually, I don't think anyplace in public is the right place for PJ's. I know this will get some flames, but when I see people wearing PJ's in public, my first thought is that they are lazy, too lazy to actually get dressed.

It's really not that difficult to put on a pair of jeans or shorts and a nice t-shirt.
