TWO YEARS until we get to go again. I am finishing college (FULL TIME) and my daughter just started her first year in school Kindergarten.... it is just so overwhelming coming from being a stay at home mom... I hardly get any time for myself... so this morning :scratchin I needed to DIS. It's always made me feel so much better! So here's to all you disboarders.... :grouphug:

I can't wait until these next two years are over! We'll definitely be headed back right away. I know that the wait is worth it, tho. My daughter will be older and able to do more... we'll have money to go once I'm in my job and I'll have TIME! to plan with you all our best and biggest trip ever!

Honestly... I think the Disney trip at the end of the "journey" is what I'm most looking forward to. I'm not even excited about a new house or new car or clothes... whatever... nothing compares to that time spent in Disneyworld. It's really the only thing I get excited about and makes all of this INSANE hard work worth it!

Again thank you disboards and disboard family!

:grouphug: congrats on going back to school!!!pixiedust:
You sound like we"re kinda in the same boat I've been a stay at home mom for 13 years and my youngest will start school next year! So my future seems a little scary to me but LIFE'S A JOURNEY! Good luck to you and your family. The DIS is always here!~~!!!

Cheers to that!! :drinking1 I'm a stay at home mom at the moment. I'm also in school. I won't be done until 2016. The last time we were in Disney was 2005! We are long overdue!! So next year, we are planning a Disney trip before I start my nursing program. :)

Though I'm busy with the children and school, I just stop by here to see what's going on when I take my little break. I wish you the best of luck in your studies! Disney will always be there waiting for you!!

This is what we did- we knew we weren't going to get to go for a long time so we made it down in May for our daughter's fifth bday.

Once real life sets in..... :crazy2: I haven't used the disboards since about May... I started losing my focus on everything else... :) When I went through my general eds I'd always stop by the Disboards and it always kept me going for my goal. It's seriously one of the only things that cheers me up and keeps me going.

I started thinking about Disney this weekend and I took a mental trip and Tada! I'm doing pretty well again!

So now when I get in a "rut" I just start thinking oooh... AKL, Beach Club, Poly.... :rotfl: All better!

What a great way to celebrate earning your degree!! A trip to Disney with the family is a wonderful graduation gift to yourself!! :thumbsup2 ...and yes, you definitely have something to look forward besides getting your diploma!! I think I may want to do the same thing! Disney can be one of the ways to motivate you in studies!! :goodvibes Receiving a diploma earns you a trip to Disney!! Yaaay!! Good luck on your endeavors!!
