Getting a good Hotel deal...

Hi, from Ontario, Canada. We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Port Huron on July 8th. Is $89.00 a good deal? If not. How can I get a better one?

I don't know how to improve your rate at the Holiday Inn, but for the money, I'd rather stay at the Thomas Edison Inn. The rate for a standard room is only $100 on a Friday night. You could call and ask if they have any promotional rates as well. Port Huron is not exactly a beautiful city, but the Thomas Edison Inn is pretty nice (the best they have to offer in town). We stayed there a few years ago while attending a wedding there (I'm originally from the area).
