Okay so they like somehow order the tickets for you in your name so that's how DL knows you have the tickets paid for with just your id?

Yes. They are somehow paid for through the DL system... so when you go to the ticket window, they look you up in the computer via your ID. My in laws got their tickets through a different travel agency and did the same thing. A little glitch with their tickets but DL called the travel agency and then issued the tickets. It just took a few minutes longer.

Well see that's what worries me. Lines are bad enough but if they gotta CALL someone (like if you use WDW tickets they have to call WDW? or like with your example of them having to call the travel agency)- what if they aren't open yet or they are unable to reach them right then? We stand around and wait however long? that worries me a little.
