Check In: Well, finally I have a week without a disaster!

It's about time.. There's only so much drama one can take. And I have some great news. I've continued to lose weight and there's several milestones I've reached. First, I lost a total of 4 pounds this week, for a total of 12 since we started. However, over the holidays, I had been flirting with 200, so officially I've lost over 20 pounds! I'm in the 170s now. Whoot! Whoot! (I know it's just a number, but it's nice to finally dip below the 180s) And, I weigh the lowest I have since I got pregnant with my son about 13/14 years ago! I weighed 175 when I got pregnant with him, so if I lose only 5 more pounds, I'll be the lowest I've been in about 18 years.. That's mind blowing.. For this week, I'm going to continue what I'm doing since it seems to be going well. I'd like to add more strength training, though. Even though I'm losing weight now, my core feels weak. I think it's the surgery still. So I'm going to look at the ab challenge WAHkoMom & rebeccam31 talked about and maybe try it out. How are you guys doing with that? Are you noticing any results? just keep swimming.. just keep swimming..
