Germany?

We will be trying the sit down restaurant in Germany on this trip, can't think of the name. I am not huge into sausages and kraut. I have gotten adventurous in my old age though, so I will TRY it. Anyone out there NOT into sausages/beef but still found plenty to eat that was tasty?

I ate at Biergarten in December as part of the CP dining package. I chose that restaurant because I thought my friend would enjoy it and the atmosphere looked fun. I'm a vegetarian and I don't like heavy foods, so I wasn't expecting to find much to eat at all. Well, I was wrong! There was a lot of great food on the buffet for me to eat, and I didn't touch any sausages, or kraut either for that matter!

This turned out to be one of the best dining experiences of our trip. Not only was the food delicious, the setting is a lot of fun. We were seated with a wonderful family from Iowa who were visiting WDW for the first time, and we had a wonderful conversation during dinner. There was a couple on the other side of us who did not seem interested in conversation, but that was fine too. You will be seated with others (unless you have a party of 8) and I was dreading that part of it, but it was not uncomfortable at all.

I don't mind eating with others if they dont mind my darlings Luke and Sophia. With Luke around the restaurant doens't need entertainment. He usually cracks himself up and anyone within a 5 mile radius! Good to know that we will be sharing a table!

I will indulge in chicken and fish. Hoping the chicken is tasty at least.

Thanks for the reassurance. This is DH's pick and he is a true meat eater!

Any good things to say about dessert?

Hi,

the Biergarten is great...an your son will have a lot of fun too. He can go to the place in front of the stage during the show, dancing etc.
