hi everybody!! Just checking in on the last 3 days of week 3!!! And WHO CARES what anyone else thinks about how we communicate on this forum. It was here before I and they came along, so why bust our balls?...thats plain rude, and we are newbies and we are very LUCKY to have a place to come. So lets try not to be rude and come change everything to fit in our little box....think outside of it and consider others feelings, just be peaceful and go with the flow. so what ....

Today something happened that scared me a little. I was waiting in the car for a while so I put my seat back a little and was resting with all the windows down. Something made me look up and behind me and there was a man beside a car about 10-15 feet away staring at me. I gave him a strong look back and he looked like he got caught doing something and he got in his car. I closed the windows up, made sure the locks where on and put on the air. He drove away about two minutes after I was sitting up with the car closed. I think he was some kind of creep. I'm not sure why it was the way he was looking and the reaction. I was thinking it wasn't going to bother me but it still is. There's so much more crime here than there was in northern maine. It was in a nursing home parking lot during the day though so I thought it was a safe place. I know that even fat women can be attacked because it isn't about looks. Anyway, I'm not sure why I'm telling all of you except it's still bothering me.

Oh, honey, your instincts are to be trusted. You were right to react and even if you are wrong, it's better to be rude than dead. I'm so glad you empowered yourself. I waited for Tom in a grocery parking lot tonight and I said just leave the window down enough for me to breathe, but not get carjacked. It's awful we have to think like that.

I'm sneaking away from date night to say good night and to report that our dinner was very nice and no way did we eat any dessert, Kathy! Zap! My best friend's daughter waited on us at Macaroni Grill and we had a dish with whole wheat penne. She thought we didn't like our dinner because we left so much pasta, lol! We're stuffed anyway. Isn't that weird? It was nice to get out - we've been working a lot this past week. I hope you all have a good sleep and middle of the night snack

You're right. When I gave him a direct non afraid stare he quickly got into his car. I think he was some kind of perv. What he was doing hanging out in a nursing home parking lot is beyond me. He wasn't waiting for anyone, he just sat there in his car for a couple of minutes after I saw him and drove away.

Nell, thank God you noticed him and weren't sitting there reading or with your eyes closed. And don't put yourself down. You're a lovely woman. Stuff like that just reminds us not to ever put our guard down when out and alone.

That's awful. I had a guy try to get me in an underground parking lot once. He pretended to have fallen under my car - can you imagine! I walked backwards and told him I was going to security for help. He ran off.

That's the thing. I did have my eyes closed! I got that creepy feeling and that's what made me look.

The parking lot didn't have many people coming and going. It was actually very peaceful listening to the birds until then.

Or they just get off on conflict. I don't know. It's a shame all the same. But I'd rather be where I am and know I'm wanted than be somewhere where I have to watch what I say.
I would never intentionally hurt anyone. I'm just not that type of person. But I also expect honesty, but you can do it nicely too.

I think the difference with us is that we are always going to each other the benefit of any doubt. Why wouldn't we want the best for each other?? The will be no room for power trippin' over here or we will get out the Tutu zapper gun.

My friends and I started calling him Yang Yang Then my car broke down once and some guy stopped and opened his door to see if I wanted a ride, you guessed it I ran over to a phone booth, got in closed the door and fainted. The last time was in San Diego when I was a new Navy bride. At a bus stop at night. Some guy comes along and shows it all in front of the glass windows at a movie theater at intermission . I got a ride home from the cops, DH freaked out. Made me quit the job. I laugh about it now but it was really scary then.
