Geriatric MM Warriors!

I wanted to thank who it was that told us to try Walmart for tires. I think it's Barb? I couldn't see the post again. Anyway, that's where Tom is now so I hope it doesn't take too long. There was a huge screw in my tire! We needed new ones anyway before long, so it was the wake up call to get it done. I drive above the snowline sometimes in the winter. I'd much rather buy shoes!

You're welcome Lisa! DH got me new tires to be sure I was safe driving this winter :lovestruc. I'm glad you took care of it now.

Ummmm, Robin. I hate to tell you this but given the size of a turkey's brain, I wouldn't hold out too much hope for the warm and fuzzy thing! You might be able to trick them into being featured on your Thanksgiving table?:rotfl:

:lmao: Yea, and don't let them look up when it's raining or they'll drown. Then you'll be heart -broken.

Hi Everyone,

I am so happy to have found you. I missed you all terribly! I know I don't post often, but I read all the posts everyday and love the encouragement and love this group shares. I see I have a lot of catching up to do. I just want to post to let everyone know that I made it and thanks to Lisa for passing on the information.

Its great to see everyone and I love the smilies

Sherry M.

Hi Sherry - Good to see y:lovestrucu!!!!

Nell - sounds like a good dinner. We did our normal Friday night dinner at the Club. We normally just eat in the bar.

It seems like a fairly quiet night here. I am assuming everyone else has a life and isn't sitting at home on the couch on the computer like I am. There doesn't appear to be a couch potato smiley available. I would be in my jammies if I didn't have to get set DS15 after the football game. I know he would be mortified if I showed up in my jammies.

DD10 has control of the remote (what's new), so I have no idea what's on TV.

I'm going to go play around on FB, and I'll check in later.

Beverly, I don't have a life either because I couldn't drive today so I painted and cleaned and now I am cold and dirty so a hot bath and an easy supper like salads I think is on the agenda - oh, and a movie, I hope if one came in the mail today. If you want to laugh go on youtube and search for 'blood'. It's a toddler talking about blood. I played it about 6 times and laughed by myself!:rotfl:

I too am a member of the "sit at home" club. I like being home though. We had dinner and are watching Transformers 2 now. The little boys have their eyes glued to the TV. My hubby took me out of the house for a little bit and we went to Home Goods. I bought a pretty pie plate and stand for Thanksgiving dessert. An apple slicer and a picture frame for a picture that was taken of Jeff and me when we went to one of his co-worker's wedding. We have a nice fire going and it's nice and cozy here in the house.:ssst:

Sounds like the perfect kind of night! Did you look for the syrups at Home Goods? I guess I'm the only one that's never used them. Is the syrup everyone is talking about sugar free? Someone said they have them at Home Goods. I love that place!

I'm going to put on my jammies and get into bed. I will probably be back to say hello, but just in case I don't see everyone again, have a good night. :grouphug:

I was looking for them, but they didn't have them. That was one of the reasons I went cause someone said TJ Maxx had them. No luck. If I buy any I will get the sugar free. I did buy Sugar Free Vanilla from Starbucks a couple months ago and when I feel like I need something sweet in my coffee, I will pump a couple pumps in. I'd love the pumpkin flavoring though.

I just found them on locarbu and they have sugar free chai! Wow!

Hi Sherry! We are so happy here, we're glad you've joined us. :flower3:

Thank you so much for organizing the mailing list for us  Hope to see you later.

Yes they are Lisa. And they are sweetened with Splenda!! Life is great!!!!:cool1:
Also, remember there are 2 different kinds. The Da Vinci and the Torani. They are both excellent!!

I was so upset today. I stopped at my health food store to pick up my lavish wraps today. They didn't have the low carb ones!! I will stop tomorrow and ask if they will get some in for me.
The had the gluten free ones, but no low carb.
They also had a whole buggy of the sami bread and tons of pizza crusts! When setp 2 gets here, I will stock up on it for sure!!
I thought about getting the wraps but 1/2 of one is 6 carbs. So disappointed. :sad2:

I like the Everything Carb Krunchers Bagels and the Julian bread, of course! Still good to use for a freebie.

How is the shipping?

Also, on LCF, someone was ordering directly from the Sami bakery? Was it you Natalie? If so, what was the shipping on there?
