Hi Lisa and girls! Well I've basically started a vegetarian diet. I've read a couple books and decided that it's the fats, carbs and meats that are killing me. I'm reading Eat to Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman and it makes sense to me. So I'm on my 2nd day. I've been reading everyone's posts but haven't had a chance to write anything.
Anyway, I had surgery 2 weeks ago...elective cause having 4 babies really did a number on my bladder muscles so I haven't been able to exercise nor will I be able to for about 4-6 weeks. Can't believe how rough it really is!
Hope everyone is well!
Good luck on the new diet!! Sounds like a good plan!!! It almost sounds like "The Cure" by Timothy Brantley. He promotes eating as raw as possible, staying away from fats, and such.
I hope you feel better soon after your surgery. My mom had it done years ago, and I had to take her to Pittsburgh to get it done again almost a year ago. I will be praying for a speedy recovery for you.
so Jorge is making me promises I just cant resist and I figure two weeks cant hurt...he claims results in one week, so if I see nothing after two weeks, then I will reconsider again...Im not even LOOKING at the scale, just want to feel that looser waistband and be able to see my darn toes without sucking in my gut! LOL, still posting from work only...trying to keep my cool and not throw the home computer out the window!!

As soon as I get the ok, I'm making that if you find the recipe!!
I know you'll enjoy his time there. Thai soup sounds really good too!!
When one is driven, it's hard to change those qualities. It was very wrong of the boss not to meet with her and give her a chance to correct any misstep. I daresay, it might have even been illegal. Why do lessons have to hurt so much??!! There was a coworker of J-P's at Safeway (J-P's high school job) - an older guy - that used to run to management all the time because J-P would implement creative ways to serve customers - sometimes a couple of minutes after the clock would say they should be closed. Management loved J-P for increasing profits and the poor other guy is still working at the gas station at Safeway now 6 years later. He was way too stuck in the rules. We talk about it all the time. This is also reminding me of my favorite child pychologist who said be careful of the qualities you might want to instill in your child because what some people think of as qualities of a well-behaved child would be the same qualities that would make you not want to spend any time with that person as a grown up at at cocktail party. Seen and not heard, so to speak, is boring. Good luck at your dinner tonight with Demi. I'll be thinking of you.
I sent her an email today and she said they filled the position. Crap.
