I stumbled across a great deal on the Geotrax remote control Timbertown Railway at Kmart, regularly $59 for $29. They were out of stock so I got a rain check good until mid December. Assuming I'm able to pick up an actual set, what else should I buy to go along with the railway. This is all new to us, although my little boy(4) got a Geotrax DVD somewhere that he loves. I'm excited to see the look on his face when he wakes up to this Christmas morning!

I would suggest buying a pack of extra track. My kids love GeoTrax and we never seem to have enough track to build different configurations.

Extra track, and maybe an extra RC engine if your set only comes with one. My ds and his friends like to build the track huge and then "race" around it.

You can also find some of the engines/characters that go with the dvd. A few of them aren't RC engines, so they are cheaper (around $10 - 12 per set).
