Genie+ trouble with different tickets

Good Morning All, I am the primary guest, and MDE account holder and have an AP. The two others in my party have four day tickets. Am I understanding correctly that I will purchase Genie+ on the mornings of the days we want it? Is it two separate purchases. We don't want Genie+ for all the days of our parks, and I don't see a way to add it for the other two ahead of time anyway. Thanks for any insight.

As an AP you can only add Genie+ on a day-by-day basis.
For the others with regular tickets, you can add Genie+ for length of stay in advance. If you only want it for some days, you can purchase it day-of (after midnight) just like for the AP. I do think it will be 2 separate transactions but I'm not positive on that.

Thank you. I haven't seen an option to add it to their tickets ahead of time, but will hope some kind of button to purchase will appear on our park days.
