Genie plus 7am time slots???

Hi there, just checking in to see if anyone can give me an idea of what the Genie + screen looks like at 7am now?
I heard you cannot see any return times? do you just book and cancel and book and cancel?
I haven’t been since last January. trying to get an idea on how it works now

I looked at G+ early the other day and it pretty much said G+ was available for the given ride or it wasn’t available. Then this morning just after 7:30 the times were back on the G+ tiles and both SDD and $ILL Rise still had availability, tho I don’t know if that’s just because of the after thanksgiving lull or if they just refilled availability. (Edited to indicate $ILL for Rise.)

We were just there over turkey week and every morning it showed the reserve time slot for the rides available. FYI; ROTR is only iLL$ and not part of G+.

I'm not sure what you are saying but ROTR, Seven Swarfs, Flight of Passage, and Cosmic Rewind are all not part of G+

Simple. A post above makes it sound like ROTR was part of G+ see quote below. Just clarifying that point. Is that okay?

We were there over Thanksgiving week and I only woke up at 7am one day (for Rise and Guardians) I figured no way in hell I will be waking up every day before 7 am on vacation. So all we did is refresh the app during the day to get times we wanted. Even during big crowds I never had to refresh for e-ticket rides more than 2-15 minutes. 15 minutes took for Remy and Slinky. It was nice cause we usually book it and use right away so very flexible with plans.

Apparently if you have purchases G+ for that day you can click on each ride to see the return times. If you do not have G+ for that day you cannot see the return times until 7:15AM.

This. We were there the first week of November. We could not see return times until 7:15 am unless we clicked on the ride.

Yeah, I too need to figure out the plans since I have to start caring about this in 10 days. I got pretty effective in early January, but the game has changed.

My major ILL question, since we are limited to one a day, is this: we are never starting in Epcot, but we plan to spend two afternoons and evenings there (and hopping over from DHS and MK). I'd like to ILL Cosmic Quest both days, but won't be able to get to EPCOT until 2 PM. Can I see the ILL times when I go to get them to ensure they are mid-afternoon, or will any ILL time work after the start time?

You can still purchase 2 ILLs in any given day, they will just be at 2 different parks. Obviously you need a park hopper or Annual Pass to do this.

For ILL, you choose the time. If it is a park you are hopping to, the system will only show you times after 2:00.

An ILL$ Purchase allows you to return anytime that day after you BG is called. I would recommend getting the earliest return time you can.

Also, you are not limited to purchasing one per day, you can purchase 2 but will just need to park hop to use both of them.

Cosmic rewind VQ sells out in seconds. If you’re at a deluxe resort AND going on an Epcot extended evening day you get a 3rd shot at it (6pm).

Good to know. We’re going in a few weeks. I heard reports people couldn’t grab it at 1 pm either during holidays (could be ride was new and demand was high by locals). That’s great if it’s available for a few hours.

Do you think this will be true closer to Christmas? We arrive in WDW on Friday 12/16 and that's and Epcot Day for us. But we are in the air during the 7am VQ
so we are really hoping to have success with the 1pm VQ.
