Genie + and park hopper question

We are doing a quick weekend trip, and only doing one park day. We are a party of 5. Four of us are going to do AK in the morning and park hop to HS in the afternoon. We bought park hopper tickets and have AK as our starting park. Where it gets complicated is my husband only wants to go to HS and doesn’t want to get up early on vacation. So he has a single day ticket for HS and we will all go there together.

When I am trying to set up my party for Genie for the day, it acts like I can only do things for the first 4 people at AK (which is accurate but makes me concerned I won’t be able to stack LL at HS for all 5 of us). Bc when I switch it to HS, it only shows my husband to plan genie for.

Will I have any trouble booking LL while at AK, for HS later in the day, for all 5 of us? Is that a quirk that will fix itsself on the day off and give more that the option of my husband?

It’s also not letting me select the top attractions I want to move to the top, but maybe it doesn’t let me do this til day of? It all worked flawlessly last time we used the genie system, but this is more complicated and I don’t want to waste the day messing with issues, since we only have the one day. So I want to get ahead of it!

You should have no problem stacking for HS. You'll just have to pick things with later return times which is pretty easy for HS. If I remember correctly, you can't pick the favorites until day of and it will probably default you to AK. Not sure if you can favorite HS attractions or not.
