General Question About Parades

I know this is a dumb question, and I know I'm lazy for not finding the answer myself, but I thought I'd just ask you smart people ...

Are the gates open for everyone right before Spectromagic/Wishes and Illuminations or do you have to use your pass to get into the park?

For instance, if we don't have a hopper pass and we spend the day at Epcot, but we want to go to Spectromagic at MK, how does that work?

I am pretty sure they keep checking tickets even if you are just going for the fireworks. It really is worth it to be in the countries for the Epcot show. However, we have enjoyed watching the Magic Kingdom show from a boat on the Seven Seas Lagoon. Now that cost a bit of money but, I bet you could get a good view from either the GF or the POLY.

If you don't have a park hopper you are out of luck. The scan tickets until the park is closed.

That's correct. I once went to MK 5 minutes before closing time. They still made me put my ticket in the turnstile - it's a good thing it was an AP!

No, you're going to either have a hopper pass or watch wishes from outside the park.
