Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

Yum, yum.. I had that same pretzel on our trip.

I love all the Magic Kingdom merchandise. I debated on getting the mug, then once I decided I wanted it we never made it back. Luckily they had it in the MCO Disney store. It is a bit big to drink from so it is going to be used in a place of our Disney change jar.

Bella is too cute watching the parade. I'm sure the answer is here somewhere, how old was she on this trip?

I keep pens and pencils in one mug, and in another one I have paper clips. They're good for a lot of things.

Bella was two in April, so she was just shy of her second birthday.

Looking at all the yummy treats reminds me that I'm hungry! :rotfl: I'm waiting on Hannah to wake up, we had a big night at the local fair so she was tired. I'm thinking brunch this morning! But that fudge is calling to me!

Bella looks so sweet enjoying with the parade.

How was that brunch? I had a very good bowl of oatmeal with peaches and almonds. :)

Fudge is another good idea for a souvenir for those who don't care for the typical Disney souvenirs.

Hey MeMom! I just got caught up! Whew...it's only been 8 days since we lost Denny's Mom but it seems like a it's been a month since I've been here. Since we live closest to her(a two mintue walk) it has been up to me(Denny can't do it yet) to make sure everything at her house is taken care of. She had 5 grown kids, 14 grandkids and 10 great grandkids with 2 on the way. She collected cups/mugs so everytime someone would take a trip somewhere she would request a cup/mug. Of course you know where the ones we got her came from. LOL She left a list with everyone's name on it and what she wanted them to have and it said also any cups anyone had given her. We were the only ones who hadn't been to get our stuff so I went last night and got the things. There on her shevles were the Mickey Mouse, Disney, and Florida cups from us. The last one we got her was in October when we took Ty for his first trip. It has Grandma written on the handle. It is so sad because everytime I go in to water her plants or put her mail in the house Ty goes from room to room calling for Grandma.

Okay enough sad stuff. July will be here before you know it so pack those bags and sit in front of Jills until time to go. I bet she might let you sit inside in the cool air and play with 2 cute little blondes.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I know this has been taxing on you. I'm glad she was able to know Ty and spend happy times with him.

I love the "do we love parades? Yes we do!" picture of Jill and Bella! Their expressions are almost identical! Super cute! And now I want some chocolate....:) But no pecans or peanuts for me! Just plain milk chocolate for me!

I don't know if Hayley Mills ever wrote a book (I'll have to look it up) but I understand what you mean. Sometimes you find out things about people that you would rather have not known and it just spoils things. I don't recall ever hearing anything like that about her though. Julie Andrews' book was lovely and I'm just about to pick up her co-star's (which the Dis blocks out his name!) from the library!

Kurt Russell looks pretty much the same to me (only older). We often see pictures of him in our papers since he and Goldie Hawn have a cottage up in Muskoka (about 4 or 5 hours north of me in London). If he ever got tired of Goldie, you and my mum could wait in the line of women together!:rotfl:

I would rather people keep their drama in-house. I don't even like it when people put silly drama out on Facebook. Sometimes even way grown up people put the most ridiculous comments on there and draw people into their stuff. That's just not me, I guess.

I bet your mom and I would be in a very long line, wouldn't we?

Kurt and Goldie were both in the Disney Movie "The One And Only, Genuine, Original Family Band". It is a cute movie if you have never seen it. Kurt is about 15 and is a member of the family that the movie is about. Goldie is early 20's and the other girl in the movie romance. She is only in one or two scenes, but knowing they are together now you really notice the age difference. I believe this was pre Laugh In for Goldie.

I have seen it, and I loved it! Add it to the list. :goodvibes

Oh how I've missed this TR and all of your family's wonderful adventures...school's FINALLY out this week so I can play catch up! :goodvibes Sorry for being MIA for awhile...life has been a bit crazy!

We ar very glad to have you back around!

Very cute placemat!! I think that should definitely come home with you. I found a Buzz and Woody place mat at the dollar store last week and changed out Ziggy's food/water (yes they are Disney bowls ) place mat. I think he likes it ;)
Love Bella's parade expression :goodvibes I can't wait to take my little great nephew Hank down for his first trip....he is only 9 months old so I have a bit of time yet:rolleyes1 I try to always make sure he is surrounded in Disney happiness when I am around him ;)

Tracy

Good for you for immersing him in the Disney ways at a young age. :wizard:

I have got to get myself to the dollar stores. Everyone always finds cool Disney things at those.

I bet that would confuse the girls and Jill would get a good laugh! :lmao:

Brooklynn would sure think I was silly sitting out in the driveway!

If you guys want some good laughs and happy tears, spend forty minutes 'youtubing' Disney surprise proposals. Pretty sweet stuff. I know that, because that's how I have spent the last forty minutes. I did dishes before that, though, so I'm not completely lazy. ;)

Those Mickey and Minnie apples are adorable, I would never want to eat them!

I was cracking up when you said that Kay was explaining to everyone what you were doing. I have never met her but somehow I can just picture that! :rotfl:

:lmao:We would never think you lazy!!!
It sounds like fun actually!! I could kill a whole day watching youtube videos of anything related to Disney!!

Oh that candy store!!! I would buy fudge for souvenirs, but it would never make it home!! I just had a huge plate of nachos and now I'm craving chocolate after seeing those pictures!!!!

MeMom your such and enabler, I think you've been taking lessons from Anita.

She is in the Masters Program of Anita's school of enabling. :rotfl2:

While I was taking these pictures, Kay felt the need to explain to the people around her what I was doing.
I think she might have been a bit embarrassed. :upsidedow
I pretended I didn't hear her,
but it was pretty funny to hear her tell these total strangers (who did not care) all about the 'internet things' we do.

With Kay telling the story, they may have gotten the wrong idea. :scared1: :rotfl2:

Oh, I cannot begin to tell you how much I am craving Disney fudge after seeing your pictures!

Bella enjoying the parade is adorable!!! Well, she is adorable no matter what she is doing, but you know what I mean...

Disney wedding proposals? I am so on that one the next time I need to avoid doing something! :thumbsup2

Good morning, everyone! I am here to share some fabulous news. According to the girls' countdown calendar on the bathroom door...

Countdowncalendar.jpg

We are in the teens!!!!!

The time will fly by as I have to work 5 days a week between now and then, Brooklynn has swim lessons on Monday and Wednesday the next 3 weeks, Dance class on Tuesdays and Saturdays in prep for her recital on the 25th, both girls have gymnastics on Thursday nights, and we have a birthday party next Saturday. Headed out to church in a few minutes and then the insurance adjuster is coming out to check our roof to see if the damage we got from the storms and winds is bad enough to claim. Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

I am still pages behind but wanted to comment that I love the pics of the Dismeet! I would have loved to meet all of you.

The videos of Brooklynns graduation & then Bella singing the song is just precious!!:goodvibes

Love the souvie mugs you bought. Those are really cute!

Glad to hear you are out of school MeMom. I hope you are enjoying your time.

Now I have to try & get caught up...I am feeling that will never happen!

I can't believe how quickly time has gone by. It feels like just yesterday you were saying you had 7 weeks to go.

You are soooo close now! Jill, you make me tired just reading about your schedule for the next 3 weeks :goodvibes I'm sure the weeks will fly by with all you have on your plate!

:cool1: Love the countdown - you're nearly there! And those days really are going to fly by with all you have on in the next couple of weeks :yay:

Yea for teens!
I cant remember if you guys are still going to be at WDW on the 8th?? The shuttle is "supposed" to go off that day I think at 11:43am. If you are still there go up into the Swiss Family treehouse and stand in front of the bedroom facing space mountain. The shuttle will fly out of space mountain. I did that for one of the launches with my DD and it was pretty cool. We just decided since it is the final shuttle we are driving up to see it. Already have trails end booked for dinner that night.lol.

We are indeed on our last leg of this trip. Three weeks away from home is a long time to be gone. I love it here, but I miss my kids at home....
