One day....Bella will just love those characters! Too cute how she was holding on to Jill.
I never noticed that popcorn cart before. Was that new?
I think they will probably put that new popcorn cart over in Belle's village soon.
Bella has certain characters she likes a little more than others. It will be fun to see which ones become her favorites.
Bella is so adorable with her "non" love for the characters!!!
I so hope Toby enjoys the characters!!! Maybe I should hire a fake Mickey Mouse costume and get my Dad to dress up and see his reaction!!!
Heather - that is a FAB Hollie story. I could sit and listen to stories of the girls (Brooklynn too!) all day - they do make me smile!

Jill tested Brooklynn out on a local baseball team's mascot before she ever went to Disney World. Brooklynn's first actual encounter with characters, though, was when she about two months old. We went to a Disney on Ice and some characters came up to her. She slept through the whole thing.
We did Stitch again last trip after a hiatus of several years because I had found it so awful that last time. I was thinking that maybe I'd been in an off mood the last time, and hadn't given it a fair shake. Nope. Still bad. So now I think it's on permanent hiatus. Unless maybe they do start paying us ...
I spotted Bella right away -- almost. First, I thought she might be uncharateristically bold and go right by Donald. Silly me. Then my eyes swooped right to Jill's arms. That's better. Nestled snug in mama's arms and looking *away* from the scary character!
Glad those sweet girlies are starting to feel better. And yea for one more day off the school-year calendar!
We have two more days this week, five days next week, and 1 1/2 days the next.
I would love to see them give Stitch a better attraction. The little guy has been through so much, I think he deserves it.
Stopping by to say hi and see how you all are doing.

I'm not keeping up with TRs and PTRs much these days, but since I left Facebook, I miss catching up with everyone. Hope you all are well!
I've missed seeing the progress of your house on FB. I don't get on a lot, but I like to check in for a minute or two here and there just to see what folks are up to. I know some people back off of it feeling like it is too addictive, but that is far from the case with me, so I enoy it.
It's great to hear from you!

it did take me a moment to find Bella!! She was not at all interested in Donald and the West!!

Love the queue at Winnie...so cute! I didn't spend much time at all in MK this last trip so your pictures are holding me over till October!

Oh and my dates are 15-22 so between all of us that will be there we'll think of something

I could go for some popcorn this am. I can almost smell it now.

I guess we're semi-planning a before dinner meet on the 15th. We will have been traveling all day (7 a.m. flight with a 1 1/2 hour drive to the airport before check-in, so we'll probably meet up and then head back to the room for an early night-night.

We will probably look like zombies for that meet, so I ask your forgiveness in advance.
Aw, little Bella! Does she likes the characters sometimes or not a fan quite yet? My son Dimitri was three on our first trip. He hid under the table at each character meal. Those are some of my favorite pictures.
She has a few that she does better with. She gives most of them a deadpan look, though.
I agree with Stitch being kinda lame....I miss Alien Encounter. I too felt like there should have been more. But with all of the super successes that they have for attractions, there's bound to be a few duds along the way! I won't hold it against them! And I do still visit Stitch on every visit
It's too bad that Bella doesn't have a love for the characters (in person) but I can't say I blame her. To her they would seem really really big and are probably overwhelming! When we took my DCousin Kyle for the first time he was 7 and was very timid around the characters. And he was
terrified on PoTC!

You just never know how someone else's brain works!
I keep hoping they will read the advice on the DIS and give Stitch an attraction to be proud of.
I was, too. I almost didn't ride it because of that very thing. Then Ray convinced me that I'd regret it if I didn't b/c we didn't think we'd be back anytime soon (not knowing we'd get bitten by the Disney bug and I'd be back in 4 months!). And now I LOVE it! It's my favorite ride in all of Disney World. I've never laughed so hard on a ride in my life.
I'm glad you gave it a try. I'm looking forward to the day Brooklynn will ride it with me. She rode it once while I sat out with Bella, and she's not keen on riding it again - for now, anyway.
Same for me! I was so scared to ride it and never planned to. But, in January, I did the half-marathon and decided I was going to try all of the "I'm too scared to ride" attractions during that trip. ToT ended up being my favorite! For me, the drop feeling was scary until I felt my seatbelt catch and then I was fine. It didn't give me the butterflies in my tummy feeling that rollercoasters give me.
I don't like being closed into the elevator at first, but after the doors open, I'm good.
