I laughed when I saw your comment about 'Nokey-Nose' because around here he's affectionately known as 'Okey-Cokey-O'
Sweet little baby talk.
She went to Downtown Disney a couple of times but not as much as I thought she would. Plans right now are that she will go back.
Trent didn't go that much, either. He went a couple of times with friends just for fun, and then he met Marc and Anita different places when they were there.
Actually she has gotten a lot better with the whole "internet strangers" thing since she retired and got addicted to the games on facebook. I told her all of the people she's playing with are probably axe-murderers too! She didn't think it was funny. I did! She doesn't honestly think anyone on the Dis would be an axe-murderer...she thinks we're all a bit weird! She doesn't "get it"....
Some get it. Some don't.
I guess I'm kind of glad that some don't, or else WDW would be far too crowded for us to even get in.
LOL love the souvenir list too cute!
I too am very excited about trying the Animations Studios, they should be a lot of fun and I can't wait to explore the new resort!!
What a cute DIS meet!! All those DISkids are just precious!!! Glad you guys had a great ride!!!!
In just seven weeks, we'll be able to check in on the progress at Art of Animation for ourselves.
Aren't those kids so sweet?
We are all so very blessed to have those smiling faces in our lives.
Add, my husband to that list, but he is a good sport, too. And, I was so happy at the end when he said it was neat. I can't remember our order at opening - I know we started on Dumbo (and Jill rode our Dumbo when we got off), but I think we may have done Winnie the Pooh, but who knows, we could have been on Peter Pan with all you all.
This morning was one of the highlights of our trip!
Memom - I will try to post some of my pictures this weekend.
I think it is funny to see the husbands' reactions when a bunch of silly Disney girls get together. Secretly, though, they enjoy the Disney trips, and I bet they get a kick out of seeing the giddy girls, too. If nothing else, it gives them something to poke fun at.
We will enjoy seeing the meet from different points of view.
I bet he's an expert at walking on that platform.
It's my dream to get old and retire in Orlando and work at Disney World. I know 2 men who have done that (my stepmom's uncle and a friend's dad) and I can't wait to see them in October (hopefully). One works at AK selling Mickey bars and I need to find out where the other one is - I think at MK somewhere. When I retire I want to play Maleficent, but I don't think that will happen. I'm not tall (or green) enough. I'm thinking, if I follow in my mother's footsteps body-type wise, I will be better suited to play the Fairy Godmother when I get older. But that would still be fun. I wonder if I'll ever get to light the castle up at Christmas time???
Too bad Ray has told me on numerous occasions that he will never, ever live south of where we are right now due to heat. He shatters my Disney dreams.
Great dismeet! Aren't those so much fun?
I need that walking job to walk off about fifty pounds!
What is your May 28th looking like? We may be coming to ATL. Anita is meeting up wiith Jackie for lunch. If Jackie and Anita don't mind crashers, all the GA people could hook up.
Retiring in WDW would be fun. I'll work in Animal Kingdom.
Chris and I have already decided (at the ripe old ages of 23 and 26 lol) that this is what we'll be doing. I would love to be the person who stands on Main St. when the park opens with the big Mickey hands and just waves to kids. Or, selling ice cream works too. Really anything. Maybe when Ray gets older the heat will bother him less and you can live out your dream
You would be a good waver girl, Kristen!
We sure did!!! Oh yes, please let me know what she says! I would love to see you all again!
What are you doing May 28th? We might be coming that day.
Or maybe we'll strike it rich between now and then and we can just stay in Florida part of the year in our "winter home" and I can work at Disney November through March. They wouldn't even have to pay me - I'd do it voluntarily.
That could be a good mix. As for me, however, I would want to get paid.
I was talking to my dad telling him it would be cool to work at the new resort. He then said he would want to switch but would miss TSM and his seniority.
In "my" slightly perfect world, I would be able to move back to Florida just in time of opening and get hired to work at the Suites checking MeMom and crew in.(I say slightly perfect because in a completely perfect world - we wouldnt have to work and could instantly appear at Disney with a blink of an eye.
)
CanadianWDWfan, I'm a huge fan of BrooklynnsMommy's phone too - all fancy phones to be exact. My iPod touch is just a teaser.
Punkin413 - I wouldn't mind retiring there either (or working my summers there)
Someway, somehow I plan to work for Disney again.
I wish you could be there to christen AoA, too!
I know your dad wouldn't want to lose his seniority at TSMM. Plus, we need him there for Fastpasses.....when we ca find him!!!
