Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

I didn't get to watch to watch the royal wedding, due to sleeping, no tv and slow internet connection. Even if I had remembered to watch it, it would be difficult. Eventually I will watch it. I do hope they have a happy marriage life :cloud9::love:.

We had a yard sale yesterday so I haven't been on the computer (besides homework) since Thursday. I'll send you the questions on FB.

In that first picture, I was thinking "who's hand is Tanya holding and why is her arm bent weird?" I then realized it was someone in front of Tanya. :rotfl:

Oh, Earl of Sandwich...nom nom, wish I was eating that right now. Sadly, I've only tried one and at the moment, I don't remember which one it was. I'm guessing it had bacon it.

Love, love, LOVE those cupcake pins.

Hope MeMom and gang enjoy their Saturday!

- Happy Birthday!!!:bday:

Charles and I had a great DIS meet with Christine, her cousin, and her mom! I got Charles to take a picture on my iPhone of us. There is also one of me, Christine, and her cousin on Facebook.

It was a lot of fun and I'm really hoping that the Red Sox win for them!

Hi Jill and Memom

Sorry this is a bit late and you probably just want to forget it - but have been in hospital for a week or so with a bad kidney infection so I haven't been able to get on the boards until now to let you know I was so thinking of you all over the last few days. I kept telling my Mum I am sure my DIS friends are where the tornado's are and was very anxious to get on to see if you guys were all okay and let you know I hadn't forgotten you all.

Jill I am so glad you, John and the girls are okay and with Memom and the family at the moment. I cant imagine what you went thru as we dont get tornados over here - we get hurricane force gales sometimes but nothing like you have been thru.

Memom, same for you - so good to hear you are okay as it must have been awful worrying about your girls during that time.

We get all the pictures of your troubles on our news each night so it was frustrating seeing it in hospital but not having access to internet.

I watched the royal wedding here as it was on at a good time in our country - 10pm at night - it was wonderful.

My prayers and thoughts are with all of my "disfriends" who I keep up with by reading your reports and it is true I feel like I know you all.

Have managed to catch up on the 15 pages I had got behind - love downtown disney but didnt get enough time there so enjoying your pics.

Take care everyone :grouphug:

Sounds good :thumbsup2 I found out yesterday that Jeremy's coming down this weekend! He came by himself to look for jobs because they're hoping to move back here soon. We'll probably do something with him and Josh and everyone else tomorrow. That makes my birthday weekend even more exciting :yay:

A great friends and family weekend - I like it. :)

Great DTD pictures - those cupcake pins are cute!

I have a question about Jill's bag. Is that a baggalini? Is the strap adjustable? (okay 2 questions). I'm really short and it looks like she's wearing it sort of low. It looks like a nice size.

Have a fun "normal" weekend!!

I will have to let Jill answer about the bag.

The cupcake pins are cute.

DTD would sure be a nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Wish I was there! :) Earl is sooo yummy. I like the club! Enjoy your weekend MeMom, Jill and family!

We enjoy walking around DTD. It has its own special atmosphere about it.

We are having a nice weekend. Same to you and yours.

- Happy Birthday!!!:bday:

I used to have yard sales a lot, but I just can't get motivated to have another one. I'm too lazy. ;)

Has your family been having any Disney fun lately?

Mmmm... Earl of Sandwich. I plan on eating there at least once while we're there in Aug.

Good stuff. Yum!

It was a lot of fun and I'm really hoping that the Red Sox win for them!

So glad you guys had a good day. :)

Looks like you guys had a fun time at DTD! Is that the All American sandwich? I've always wanted to try there, but I feel like I'd never be able to choose just one! They all look good, but at this moment, that one sounds the best to me!

Took me a couple of days to get back on the DIS! Can you believe the last time I was on was Wednesday morning!

As you know, I am very glad Jill and the girls are safe! Such a scary day!

The Royal Wedding was quite lovely, wasn't it? I really think my favorite part was when the boys arrived -- although, I guess, technically, they aren't boys any longer.

Ah, DtD! How I wish I was there!

That was my favorite part of the wedding too! I actually started to have tears in my eyes when I saw William and Harry in the car the first time. I guess it is because I have grown up with them too. I think of them walking behind their mother's casket. They were trying to be so brave and solemn, but you could tell they were just grief-stricken little boys. It has been good to see them have happiness.

So, as I was reading, I barely formed one comment, and then the next picture came, and I had another comment!!! Great update.
Was the Lego store finished when you were there? Was Bella feeling all of Mr. Potatoe Head face? so cute! Yum, EOS!!! Craving alert. AND THEN, I gasped!

I LOVE THE CUPCAKE PINS. I have to have them! I have no idea what to do with them, but I still MUST have them! :rotfl:

No Disney fun for my family. Every time my dad thinks about going to the parks (or a resort for dinner) my sister and brother talk him out of it. I'm not there to tell them "hush and deal with it, I need my Disney fix" so my dad doesn't make them go. :sad2:

I just caught up - and finally read about the news of Trent moving back to Nashville! That is VERY exciting!!!! Congrats to him and YOU! :goodvibes I hope Tanya enjoys life in Tennessee.

Link to photos of damage a half mile from my house

The above link will take you to a picture of the gas station and neighborhood that were hit a half mile from our house.

Oh goodness. :sad1: We were at dinner and they had all the TVs tuned to the footage, if I watched, I started to tear up thinking of you DIS friends. I'm so thankful you are all safe and sound!!!!

Enjoying the TR as always too - all your pictures make me :hyper: about my upcoming trip!

So relieved that the MeMom clan escaped the devastating storms unharmed. We've been busy moving all week, so I've only just now gotten to check in on you. I'll go back and catch up on all the updates tomorrow after church, but wanted to let you know I've been with you in spirit. With moving done, and knowing my relatives & disfriends are safe, now I can finally sleep well.

I got the All-American that night. I have to eat those sandwiches in two shifts, though. They are so big and thick that I eat half while I am Earl's and take the other half for a little while later.

We only see what the press wants us to see, but I hope they are happy and grounded young men who will make a positive mark on this world. I have read/heard that William is very much into charity work. That is good to hear, as his influence can bring in a lot of money.

SO glad you enjoyed the pictures. The Lego Store was not finished, but I have seen pictures of the finished thing now. The new Lego statues are very cool.

I can't remember about Bella touching all of the Mr. Potato Head parts or not. She and Brooklynn both enjoy playing at the parts stations for those and for My Little Pony.

I hope we get to see Ed this summer. Jill saw him on the last trip when she, Brooklynn, and Kay rode TSMM, but I missed him.

He's been a busy guy so far, but I think he is pretty happy to be back home. Tanya said she always knew he would come back, because he always talked about how much he missed home.

We are very thankful that all of our southern DIS friends escaped harm and serious damage.

Thank you :goodvibes

:dance3:

Yup. It doesn't get any better! :thumbsup2

We are happy that you had such a great birthday. :)

Moving is a big chore! Just renovating a little put this house in upheaval! I hope you enjoy your new home. :thumbsup2

Hope you got that good night's sleep. I'm sure you deserve more than one of those after moving. ::yes::

Oh my... I hope it doesn't take weeks before the power is restored for BrooklynnsMommy.

It is wonderful that she has a safe and happy place to stay til she can return home.

It's nice to hear they can connect with some friends and have an evening out.

I'm sure you are very content to watch over the girls. ;)

I bet you are needing more groceries than normal ... with a full house. :)

There's nothing wrong with a nice relaxing weekend. Made even better with family around. Enjoy it!

We have one tiny daffodill that has bloomed in the garden so I am taking that as a sign the bad weather is behind us.

I'm going to change my reservation tomorrow and add the Free Dining...so pixie dust that we get POP. If not I'll try for ASMusic.

This new package comes with a Photobook...at a reduced cost mind you.
I will have to look into that cause it's not something I have ever done in the past.

I changed my ticker because we decided our arrival day will be Sept. 21. now!!! :woohoo:

11 glorious nights .... 10 park days .... possibly a Sea World day ... I can't wait for it to get here! :woohoo:

I made some new ADR's: Tony's Town Square dinner, Coral Reef lunch (Lexi's choice), Cape May Dinner. :woohoo:

Dinner the first night is still TRex but I really want to try EoS so maybe I'll sample a little something at both. :goodvibes

It's so lovely and sunny outside, the birds are chirping...I hate to miss it while I am at work today.

Hope there's sunshine where you are! Have a great Sunday! :sunny:

I told you guys this on FB already but I'm so glad you're safe and sound. This whole situation is just so sad. Watching the news about the devastation makes me cry every time. We were soooooo very lucky Wednesday night. We watched storm cell after storm cell go by us and only heard distant thunder. I don't think it even barely rained. When I went to bed at 1:00am that night there was one south of Atlanta that looked like it was headed straight for us. It was the really bad one that hit the Griffin area and the tornado was so big they could see the debris cloud on the radar. So I went and got Seth and put him in bed with us so I could just quickly grab him if we needed to take cover. I finally went to sleep (just couldn't stay awake any more) and Ray said it was the craziest thing he's ever seen....the storm cell split into two storms right before it got to us and went completely around us. Crazy, I tell ya! Counting my blessings for sure.

I'm catching up. Gosh, those Zebra Domes look yummy. I haven't had them yet, but they are going to make my must do list. We may try to go during Abby's fall break since we know which school she is going to we finally know a schedule. It is Oct 3-7. I'm hoping free dining gets extended. I think historically they have free dining during Oct - am I wrong?

Jill - we were praying for you and your family here in Murfreesboro.

It is a baggalini. The strap is adjustable. I love it! I tried several other bags before biting the bullet and spent the money on it and I am so glad I did. It is big enough for everything I need but not big enough to be to a pain.

Happy May ladies! :goodvibes

I had to stop by here today to say hello and to let you all know that a PTR has been started for my next trip to the World NEXT MONTH! Yes, this is a shameless plug but I hope you all will join us as this is a joint PTR with two other wonderful DIS ladies. Here's the link and it's in my signature as well...

Thanks MeMom and Jill for allowing me to have a little advertisement there in your TR

Looks like you guys had a lovely night at Downtown Disney!:goodvibes I am ready to get there and do some shopping! I have to admit I don't really let myself look at the pins too much. I know I would become addicted like nobody's business!

Jill enjoyed her girls' night out. ::yes::

I am wondering about free dining for later in October, since we changed our dates. I'm going to renew my AP as some point, but I am trying to do it at the time that it will be the most beneficial.

We've never been to Coral Reef, so be sure to bring back lots of pictures and a detailed review of that one. :)

I think Memphis is having storms again, so we probably have that to look forward to in a couple of hours.

It is possible that I spent the equivalent of a couple of nights at Pop Century at the grocery store this weekend. ;) The kids are good about chipping in, though, and we/they eat out some. I am happy to have them here and to be able to help out in this way, but I wouldn't be able to do it for very long.

It is amazing that it went around you. We all have much to be grateful for. So many people will not get back to normal for a long, long time. :sad2:

Jill - we were praying for you and your family here in Murfreesboro.

I told Jill about your texts during the storm.

We were originally going the first week in October, but it seems now that it will be better to go later in October. Jill can't go that first week because of spring breaks down there, since they have extra school kids during breaks. I think what might happen is that Brooklynn and I will go from October 15th - 19th for a MeMom and Me trip. Miss Anita Wigd and Jen and some others will be there at that time, so we can hook up with them a few times, too. :goodvibes

I am growing ever fonder of them, because they are easy to carry home and they are nice reminders of particular rides, attractions, events, resorts, etc. So far, I have been very good about not overdoing.
