Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

I saw the wedding of Charles and Diana, too, but I was grown and married with kids. Could be that I am a little bit older than you. :rolleyes1 I like that I saw William smiling a lot this morning. I hope this is the real thing for them. :) I thought it was kind of funny that he was about to fall asleep at one point. His eyes were sort of rollling in his head. I guess he stayed up a bit too late during his last guys' night out.

You're only as old as you feel MeMom!! That's funny, I'll have to try to find a clip of that when I get home. Wouldn't that be awful though, it's not like he can hide a yawn or anything from her, she'll see video of it eventually! :lmao: They do seem very happy. One thing is for sure though, NO ONE could accuse them of rushing into marriage! I like to believe in the fairy tale endings, and the happily ever afters though, I guess that's why I love Disney so much!

I was up early too! I'd set an alarm, but the dog woke me up earlier. It was about 5 minutes before the coverage was to start, so I just stayed up. I got my girls up right when the royal family was arriving at the Abbey, I know I remember watching Charles and Diana's wedding with my mom - I was about 13. I hope they will remember this one. It was quite lovely although I admit to dozing back off during the musical portion of the ceremony (when they went behind the altar).

I'll be falling asleep at my desk around 2 p.m. today I'm sure!

I thought he looked like he was going to fall asleep too. It was when they sat down. It was about the same time I had trouble staying awake. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Those pictures are so sad Jill. :( It's tough to think about how lives can change in just an instant. I'm glad you are such a close knit family and are safe and with each other right now.

Jill,

I had no idea the tornado damage was so close to you. I'm so glad that you and your family are safe.

I wondered if either one of them would faint!

I am so glad to hear that you are all safe. I have family in AL and they are here in FL this week visiting us. I lived through an F5 tornado in OK in 1999 and I know where all these people are coming from. I wish I could go up the AL and help with the clean up efforts. I will continue to pray for all of those people who were affected. If there is anything I can do, please let m know.

Most of the time I feel pretty young, so it's all good. My legs remind me sometimes that I am not, though. :upsidedow

Where are they honeymooning?

I bet TV's were on at times they've never been on before in a lot of homes.

I thought he looked like he was going to fall asleep too. It was when they sat down. It was about the same time I had trouble staying awake.

I saw a minute or two where the camera was right on him and he clearly needed Kate to give him an elbow in the side to keep him awake. ;)

I'm glad that I live close enough that they could get here in a short time. It would be bad if a person didn't have family anywhere close.

Jill,

I had no idea the tornado damage was so close to you. I'm so glad that you and your family are safe.

The pictures tell a pretty sad story.

I wondered if either one of them would faint!

That would be horrible with two billion people watching.

Maybe when Jill gets back to work, she might hear of people who are in need. She can let you know then.

I don't get to spend this evening at Downtown Disney, but I do get to walk around there via pictures.

We did a little pin shopping.

A new line of cupcakes.

Jill went into World of Disney.

Bella and I went over and watched the fun that was going on here.

They were having a scavenger hunt with the kids, and it was something simple and fun for some to do while others were shopping.

Great pics! Downtown Disney looks great....there was no DTD the last time I was at WDW. Of course, it's been so long ago, there was only MK & Epcot, and Epcot was brand new! I cannot wait to visit Once Upon A Toy & World of Disney! Most of all I can't wait to see the looks on the kids faces when THEY visit those places

I've read about several rumors about where they're honeymooning. Here's a question for ya.....where would you want to go if you were them?

Loved the DTD stroll! I cannot wait to be back there. We don't have any dates or anything booked, but I'm really hoping we do soon. My mom especially wants to go back in January and I am dying to have a Disney trip to look forward to.

EoS made me really, really want my Hawaiian BBQ sandwich! I've honestly never tried anything else from there because I love that sandwich so much.

Hi friends. Glad your crew is safely at your house. I'm sure you are enjoying the family time.

I feel so heartbroken for all the devastation that has come to the South in the last few days.

I'm so thankful all of our DIS friends are okay and have thier families and homes.

We had very high winds here yesterday that came from those Southern storms.
Took down trees, power lines, fences and street lights.

It took so long to get home because most of the lights were all on red.

I arrived home to find we had no power. We decided to go to the movies.
(Saw RIO in 3D, cute movie :thumbsup2)
Came home and went to sleep in a chilly bed.
Found out today that there was a huge tree that fell on our power & phone lines.
They told us they didn't know how long it would be before it was fixed.
So after work tonight I booked a hotel for the next two nights.
Lexi was excitted about getting to swim in the waterpark.
Came home to get clothes etc. after we got some dinner and the power was On!!!! :dance3:
Lexi said she would gladly trade the swim for power at home...go figure...

I went all day until now without seeing the Royal Wedding. Very disapointing.
I'm thrilled to be watching all the highlights.
Her gown was gorgeous, she looks like a beautiful princess! He looked so handsome.
I love the horse and carriage!
I remember seeing Charles & Diana's Wedding as a girl and I was so looking forward to watching this one.
I hope they have a happy marriage. :lovestruc

I really needed the stroll around DTD! Thank you. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy!

Good night! I'm off to sleep...sweet dreams of shopping at DTD! Gotta work tomorrow. :goodvibes

Took me a couple of days to get back on the DIS! Can you believe the last time I was on was Wednesday morning!

As you know, I am very glad Jill and the girls are safe! Such a scary day!

The Royal Wedding was quite lovely, wasn't it? I really think my favorite part was when the boys arrived -- although, I guess, technically, they aren't boys any longer.

Ah, DtD! How I wish I was there!

Loved the update, as always Memom and Jill! Downtown Disney is one of my favorite places to go in the evenings to relax! Did you watch the royal wedding? I stayed up really early and watched it here! I'm not old enough to remember Princess Diana's wedding, but I remember her funeral, and I was almost 7. She was, and still is, my role model in life, and I was a wreck when I found out about her death. I cried for days (not literally, but it felt like it) and it impacted my life so profoundly. I loved the whole thing, the wedding was beautiful, especially the dress! Hope you are having a great weekend!

I think it's about time for MeMom, Jill and the girls to have a relaxing evening at home....
Hugs to everyone for your ordeal last night!

I loved the pictures of DTD. I never think to take walking around pictures to share but I sure enjoyed them.

I hope you guys have a nice, relaxing, boring day today ;) Nothing bad can happen on my birthday. That's the rule :upsidedow

You are long overdue for a Disney trip! :wizard:

Downtown Disney is a whole 'nuther attraction within itself. :) We are excited about seeing all the new changes that have been made even since we were there last. There will be many new photo ops for me. :thumbsup2

Well, I'd be fine with going to Disney World, and if I could be insta-transported, I'd love to see Hawaii. I will never make it there because of the long flight, though. :sad2:

What a nice treat in the middle of a cold winter! :cool1:

I have had probably five different Earl sandwiches. My favorite is the holiday one.

I hope they have a happy marriage, too. I really do. There has been so much controversy and scandal in the 'royal' family, so it's time for a real fairy tale story.

Very glad you are safe up there and have your power back and running. They are saying it could be several weeks to get power back in all of Jill's area.

I think William and Harry will always be 'the boys', won't they?

I sure did watch. I've watched all the big events they've had. I'm not starstruck by anybody - royalty, athlete, actor, or whatever - but it is interesting to watch.

Some of my favorite pictures are the walking around ones. I just like to stop and capture the momend from where I sit or stand. Just the normal 'here we are in the middle of this or that' picture.

The sun is shining and we are on target for a good day. :goodvibes

Sounds good to us. Trent and Tanya are watching friends at the Music City Marathon. Drew is going to a bike show. Jill and I (and girls) are going to see an old school friend. Jill may go out with some AL friends tonight who are also taking refuge up here in Nashville. John is going out with Trent and the guys to eat. I have to do some grocery shopping, and I'll hang out with the girls while Jill and John go out with all the friends. Should be nice and normal. ::yes::

Sounds good :thumbsup2 I found out yesterday that Jeremy's coming down this weekend! He came by himself to look for jobs because they're hoping to move back here soon. We'll probably do something with him and Josh and everyone else tomorrow. That makes my birthday weekend even more exciting :yay:

Great DTD pictures - those cupcake pins are cute!

I have a question about Jill's bag. Is that a baggalini? Is the strap adjustable? (okay 2 questions). I'm really short and it looks like she's wearing it sort of low. It looks like a nice size.

Have a fun "normal" weekend!!

DTD would sure be a nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Wish I was there! :) Earl is sooo yummy. I like the club! Enjoy your weekend MeMom, Jill and family!
