My sister had something similar when we were growing up. She missed a lot of school, and they said it was psychosomatic (or all in her head). They finally labeled her truant. About 3 years later, the problems still persisted and it ended up being a fungus in her sinus cavity
. MRIs, CT Scans, tissue cultures, you name it....nobody found it! I hope your son's issue is discovered soon so he can fully recover.

I swear it's the not knowing that is the worst. Once you know, at least you can figure out a plan of attack.
I hope the doctors are able to help him soon!
