Gee Whiz, we wish we had the time...wait, we do!!!!!!

scotlass, excellent pictures! :thumbsup2 Love the cottontail! :lovestruc

Thanks, PK, now I have Lady Gaga's Papparazzi song running through my head. "I promise to be kind, but I won't stop until the mouse is mine." :rotfl: OK, no Mickey bahookie, I promise.

The for the pictures of the Pirate League, also. You're daughter is beautiful! It looks like a lot of fun.

Thanks Kerrie, very sweet of you to say. I was a little freaked out by the makeup -- too much, too dark IMHO, but it was for the first night of MNSSHP, so I let it go. Even though there were a few pics of her :rolleyes: she had a great time. She said she'd like to go again whenever we go back. Don't think that's going to happen though. I think she'd feel out of place where it not for MNSSHP. It really was a great experience and well worth the price, again IMHO. And just in case anyone is questioning my parenting/decision making skills, I realize the skirt on the costume was short, but she was wearing shorts underneath. ;)

Erin, I know exactly how you feel. If it weren't for work, I'd never interact with others. I've decided that for the new year, I need to get a hobby or join a gym, or something that will allow me to begin to reclaim my own identity. Facebook has been a real eye opener for me. I realized I have nothing to post, EVER. :guilty: I think that's why I love this Board and the people on these threads so much. I gives me a tie to the outside world and the ability to interact with others in a fun way.

I showed the pics to DH, also. He really liked them, too. I think he might consider letting our kids go.

These boards and facebook are one of my few connections to the outside world. At least the world outside my house and the grocery store. :rotfl2: I haven't left the house since Sunday. :sad2: We've started going to a homeschool park day and I think that will be good for the kids and me. There are actual adults to talk to! In person!

The internet is one of my few connections to the outside world since I stopped working 2 1/2 years ago. On weekends it's just me and DH, family members are our only friends. I never went back to where I used to work to see anyone, I don't know why.

I have acquaintances, but other than my hubby I have one true best friends, we've know each other for almost 30 years. We now only see each other once or twice a year, talk on the phone very infrequently.

Now as for this no Mickey bahookie oath, I don't know if I can conform to that :snooty: I am looking forward to my December trip and I think my birthday present should be taking a pic of Mickey's bahookie. :woohoo::yay:

I just realized I have over 400 posts, I wonder what I wasted #400 on? :lmao:

I promise to continue the bahookie quest when I go in May (after Snap does her pics on her trip). After more than 20 visits to WDW, I've certainly run out of interesting things to photograph. Scotlass, your pics were great, glad you had fun sneaking the pics with the boy's help. It will be something the two of you will always remember.

Erin, I do have OCD, maybe there is truth to what you say. When my kids were teenagers, they used to love to rearrange things in the house just to torture me. They wouldn't do obvious moves, small subtle moves, and would laugh when I'd freak out and rush to put the item back in its exact position.

PK, love the pics of Pirates League and thanks for posting them. I hope my son's future step daughter enjoys it. My son and his fiancee are going to get their faces done at the same time with her. Where did your daughter get her costume, it looks so cute. She is a very beautiful young woman; I'm sure you are very proud of her.

I'm definitely another no-lifer. With the hours I work, I have no time for a life outside of my career. Many years ago, my husband took up golf because he was tired of sitting home waiting for me to leave the office so he is always at the country club. So now when I am home, I'm usually alone with 2 nekkid dogs.

Sorry, but I don't think OCD has anything to do with losing your mind when someone moves stuff. I notice things all the time and it drives me crazy! Maybe I just haven't been diagnosed yet? :confused3 ;)

I got my daughter's costume from, I believe, www.buycostumes.com probably back in May. Got it on sale, but then had to have the costume taken out a little, a new lace panel inserted at the chest area and the scratchy material taken out of the puffs at the shoulders. So much for a sale. :rolleyes: But she loved it so I was happy. I am very proud of her. She's a good kid and tries to do what's right. But then again, she'll turn 14 in about a week and I know that won't last for ever. I'm not negative, just honest about her not remaining an angel forever. Speaking of which, remember my story about how she was stalked in the airport by a cute boy when we got home? I thought she was oblivious and had no clue? Well, while looking through the pics on her cell phone, guess what I saw? A copy of a note he had written her with his name and phone number, asking her if she'd like to talk when we landed? WTH? What do you mean when we land? :scared1: Apparently, he had thrown the note in her lap on one of his many trips to the restroom inflight. :laughing: She never let on. I thought she was completely oblivious to his stalking, but she knew all along. :rotfl: She never called and I can't let on I know, because the information was obtained in a somewhat devious manner, but it gave me pause to realize how easily she can pull the wool over my eyes.

And I'm sorry, Pakey, but your admission of no life cracked me up when I got to the part about being home with two nekkid dogs. :guilty:

You are lucky, she is not only beautiful, but she is smart too!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Good morning :surfweb:

I am making sauerbraten for dinner today, I can't wait for the smell to fill the house. :cloud9:

(Speaking of smells, I don't think what I said on the McDonald's thread was so horrible. My goodness, the things I have seen discussed on these boards makes me hair curl sometimes. :scared1:
)

Now I have to go find the McDonald's thread.

OK, found it. Your post was definitely memorable. :rotfl2:

So no one has ever gone into a public ladies room and had to turn and run from the smell? I always found the people coming out were the ones who sat and ate Mickey D every day :confused3

I have left public restrooms due to the smell. I've never noticed a McD connection. DD4 loves refried beans :confused3 and likes to have taco bell beans. I definitely notice THAT smell.

:rotfl: What's that old commerical: Never let 'em see you sweat! :thumbsup2 Who cares, really? So you have a hidden talent, be proud. :rotfl:

:scared1::scared1: OMG, I never eat the stuff! I didn't mean me!!!! Is that what they thought????

Snap, are you talking about what the dissers said about your post? I wouldn't sweat it. I've made honorable mention more than once. :lmao: That's what PK is telling you, don't sweat it. I can guarantee you that you won't get any judgement from me; I think it's great that we are all very different (other than having no life, of course).

I have Mickey D breakfast once a week. It's my treat. I just have to have a coke once a week so I have it on the weekend with a sausage McMuffin and it's sooooooo good. My dogs have never mentioned a bathroom smell and my husband wouldn't dare. :rotfl:

I'm just amazed, after reading all the "for ladies only" threads here and reading some pretty personal and disgusting stuff that my comment rates such a negative response. Give me a break, I'm a weirdo? They are talking about the same thing, poop-pouri? Obviously everyone has experienced something similar where they work. And yes, the same people who always ate the same thing were the repeat offenders.

Oh well, back to :laundy::laundy:

Snap, your post is mild compared to other stuff I have seen on here. It's just your day to have the spotlight on you. There'll be something new later on today that will get the masses outraged.

They want us to talk to you........:rolleyes:

hehehehehhehehehee

Oh no, now someone's dog got sick from eating it! :sad2:
