Gee Whiz, we wish we had the time...wait, we do!!!!!!

Pakey, any news on the beer recall?

:rotfl: I couldn't resist. I'm sure I've annoyed some of those posters with that.

So do you wear the fairy wings and combat boots at the same time as the green turtleneck and no pants?

We may need to send your name into one of those makeover shows.

:confused3 Are there any looking for a new host?

Sounds like mischievious Pakey  has been visiting other threads. Now, I must go found out where. :sad2:

Hello my lovelies (yes GP, even you!).

Don't go thinking I got a life or anything, I actually have less of a life on weekends - no computer :scared1::scared1:

DH took the day off yesterday so I am trying to catch up. Spent the morning cooking (stop envying my exciting non-life).

What is this talk of beer? It's funny because I just put my favorite in my avatar before I read that - what's up?

It was a thread about the beef recall; everyone was so serious. I went in and did the Roseanne Rosanna Danna

"Never Mind"

I thought it said BEER recall.

And I left.

I had to jump on it before GP did. BTW, I have not seen that angry beaver today. Maybe a severe rum hangover.

The angry beaver did visit the ignore thread early this morning. Or was it late last night? In any case, my computer screen is covered in red marks correcting his spelling mistakes. I should probably stop doing that, it's not very effective and it's getting difficult to read.

Pakey, I'd love some more inlaw stories if you'd care to share. Most bad inlaw stories I hear are filled with anger, yours are full of amusement. I'm glad you can laugh at them.

I made spaghetti last night for dinner. DD2 put her finger in the sauce then showed us, "look, messy." Of course, she doesn't use her pointer finger, she uses her middle finger. DD2 flipping us the bird is now DH's background on his phone.

I'd ask for that picture, but we'd all get banned :lmao:

Can someone please come over and unstick my eyelids? I can't seem to wake up today. I look kind of like this ;);)

Tonight I am putting on my beer goggles :3dglasses , The Yankees are going to win the world series!!:cheer2:

Morning no lifers.

I *finally* got rid of my migraine, thank goodness.

Okay, hopefully one of you will know the answer to this. What kind of wine should I get someone who likes a lot of fish. I don't do fish or wine so I'm totally lost! I want to get my boss a nice bottle of wine for his birthday, and he eats a lot of seafood.

Boone's Farm Apple Wine and a nice McFish sandwich from Mickey D's!

Glitterkitty, I would get a nice Napa Valley Chardonnay that was aged in oak (will cost a bit more). My favorites are Grgich Hills and Franciscan. I'm more of a red wine drinker so I don't know much about whites.

Just for you Kerrie: when my husband's youngest brother was getting married, my mother in law felt his fiancee needed a bridal shower. However, mother in law didn't really want to host one. So she sent out a form letter (unedited, with horrible spelling) stating that nobody had the time or money to host a party so could everyone please just mail a shower gift to the bride.

I carried that letter around for almost a year and took it out any time I needed a great laugh. My husband finally told me I had to toss it.

And I love those McDonald's fish sandwiches.

Go Yankees.

:rotfl2: Thanks for the story, Pakey. No one threw me a bridal shower, my family or his. Of course, we only had a month of planning, I'm sure no one actually had time. No shower is much better than that letter!

I am no help with the wine or fish. Only DH eats fish, I can't stand the smell. Too fishy. :upsidedow

I'll join the bandwagon, after all, my mom is a fan.
Go Yankees!
