I'm still here guys but working some mad hours plus spending evenings at the new house getting it ready for the kids to move into this weekend. I had no idea that being a slumlord was going to require so much work.

I have not told Mr. Pakey the news, I'm not ready for divorce yet. And having survived the raising of 3 boys, I have experienced, on more than one occasion, the crawling home drunk saga. Helene, I did like that high chair though. If it came in purple, I'd maybe even buy it for one of my dolls.

So we were at the park today and this little girl who visits her dad from down the street was there, she lives with her mom I guess. I'm not up and up on that whole deal since they just moved in to the house in the winter time. She was about 2 or 3 tiny little thing very cute, very talkative... she told me I was older than the sun... how nice of her

My DS was eating some ice cream and debating the color of vanilla. It was a little yellower than he is used to. I told him that is because it is 1905 vanilla. He asked how long ago that was. So, I told him that was 109 years ago. Of course, he said, "Is that like when you were a baby?" He is no longer my favorite son, even if he is the only one.

Of course, since I'm on my work computer, I can't see the pics. Sometimes they come up, sometimes they don't.

My big plans are just going to the Poconos for the weekend, which means I won't have access to a computer. You guys are going to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet without my rantings and singing. I'll be here probably until Friday night, then incommunicado (?) until Monday.

We have a house in Gouldsboro. I haven't been there in over a year, but DH goes 1 or 2 weekends a month. His parents also go frequently. Sorry, did I sound a little bitter there?

scotlass, great pics, your boy is so cute. Glad the dr visit went well. And I totally understand getting on the scales. My oncologist makes me do it every dang visit. It's never good news.

Helene, when the boys were young, we were camping and they came running back to the RV and told me this story about this old guy hiking. Later, the guy walked by our site and the boys pointed him out and I am not kidding, he was no more than 30 years old. It ruined my weekend.

My weekend plans, no surprise, will be working over at the rental house. There are no big projects left inside, just tons of little things to be done, plus a lot of cleaning in the bathrooms yet. We will let the kids move in and we'll start on the massive outside projects. Good thing middle son is a landscape contractor.

PKs, hope you don't go on same weekend as the inlaws. That would not happen at my household.

Pakey I am 30! His dad is looks to be much older than I am. I thought she was his grandaughter for a long time. I'm just as bad as his daughter is I guess lol
