GC - Which room?

I will be staying at DLR on 7/26 and am trying to decide on which room to book at the Grand Californian for the night. We are flying back from Australia and just needed a 'rest' before continuing to the east coast.
We have stayed at the DLH before and wanted to try GC.

How much time are you planning to be in the room? I prefer the king room with the DCA theme park view personally, but if you are planning to not be there much then save some money and dont get the theme park view. My sister stayed there a couple of weeks ago and had a great room with two queens - their balcony was over the World of Disney Store and they could watch the DL fireworks from it.
If you have kids with you the bunk rooms are cool otherwise I would not recommend them.

I went ahead and booked a theme park concierge king room. I figured it was only 1 night and decided to splurge since I'm sure that day we will be in the room for a while resting and it would be nice to have the refreshments handy. Besides, I really want to see the MSEP from my room - hopefully I can stay awake that long.
