FWIW, I accidentally went the week after once- and the place seemed still empty from those afraid of any lingering participants.

Well, I sure didn't plan that very well now did I!I guess we'll have to pick a different park for the 5th. That's too bad, that was once of the reasons for staying at the Poly those two nights.
Hey Crazywig that's uncanny! Great minds must plan alike![]()
Well, I see you in 15 days!!! Meet you at the POLY![]()
I think that poster was winking at people who might actually think it is a disease, that needs to be avoided. I've been known to be wrongOriginally posted by CanadaPT
Ouch, sounds a bit like the participants have a disease or something!!
I have to agree! It's difficult to explain, but it is one of those days when the atmosphere in the park is exceptionally great and festive despite it being very busy.

Everybody IS equal and we all deserve our own day. There's Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King Day............etc. All these "days" celebrate different groups and each group is proud to be singled out that day.
Everyone has groups of people that they are more comfortable hanging out with, doesn't mean its wrong.![]()
Not sure if comparing "gay days" to National Holidays recognizing war heros is very accurate. There's Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King Day............etc. All these "days" celebrate different groups and each group is proud to be singled out that day.
