I'll be attending my sixth "Gay Days" this year. I agree with the above posters on all accounts. Avoiding MK on Saturday is a good idea any week of the year, but Gay Day rivals Christmas and Easter for capacity. Also, I personally would suggest avoiding PI on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings (6th, 7th, and 8th).
But beyond that, talking hands said it best. As a person that thinks displays of public affection are uneccesary (and therefore I always note them), I've never seen a homosexual display that caught my attention, but I've seen young heterosexual couples who obviously weren't aware of their location. In the end, I think the Gay community, more so than the heterosexual community, is more acutely aware they're on display in Disney and act accordingly.
In the end, you've asked not to be judged and I"m personally happy folks are sticking to the facts. And the facts are that the Gay Day schedule for the week is posted. Avoid those parks. The participants are there to enjoy Disney, and do so with like-minded people. So they tend to stick to the schedule. You'll be fine. Enjoy!
