So weve made it to our last full day. What's the plan for today, Well US/IOA and I am still really hoping to get in Epcot. Can you tell where this is going? Yes, I have high expectations. Can we do it?
The day starts out wonderfully, we get up and decide we have to go have breakfast at the Gingerbread house. Can you believe we havent done that yet? Get the kids all ready and the boys go out to play basketball while Dh and I finish packing up for the day. I have to say being so close to that was a highlight for the boys.
We make it to breakfast and the Gingerbread house is amazing. You have to try the begiam waffles. So yummy! All the volunteers are just so sweet. They were pretty understaffed this week and still made every effort to not let anyone carry their own trays! I felt so bad woth them all running around crazy but after talking to one and hearing how they love to do it for the families. I tried to just go with the flow and enjoy.
After breakfast we made a stop at the castle and yet another carosel ride. I cant even tell ou how many times the kids rode this thing. They loved it.
Funny story, there is this motorcycle at GKTW that I assume belongs to a volunteer or worker because it was always around. It is so cool. It has a parrot and the license plate says Arrhh like a pirate. Well it also has a scrolling plate under that that says On the hunt for butty or always chasing the butty something like that. One night hubby came and was telling me about that him and Kia saw it and were reading it and when he saw botty he was thinking it meant real butty I had to explain pirate treasure is called butty!

It's now about 10:30 and with so much to do today we quickly took off for US
Now as most of you know already the walk from the parking lot into US is quite long. Honestly though I thought it would be worse than it was. We got into the citywalk area fairly quick and then it was entertaing enough to not be a big deal to us. Plus we rode the moving sidewalks in.
We decide to make our way to US first and head straight for the rides. We did Shrek 4-D, Jimmy Neutron, the tornado ride?, and the Simpsons. Which was fun but we all came off of feeling a little sick so we decide to get some lunch. During this time I realize my camera's battery is dying so I dont have alot of pics. Luckily Kia has her camera and I used that oe but dont have the pics on this computer. I'll see if I can get them later. US was so great. We literally didnt wait in any lines and were escorted to a back room on quite a few to wait in a nice air conditioned area for the ride to start.
After lunch I decide to see if we can find some characters. Spongebob's up first and wouldnt you know it my boys who LOVE spongbob and are all dressed up in their very cool Big Give outfits want nothing to do with him
I did get a pic with Kia though.
Next up was to find Shrek and Donkey. At this point I didnt thin we were getting any pics with the boys but I wanted them to at least see the characters. We found Donkey but Shrek wasnt out. To my surprise Gavin went right up to him and started interacting with him. He had gotten this little handheld fan and when Donkey said he was feeling so hot in that barn, Gavin spent quite a bit of time cooling him off.
Now it was time for some real action! Rip, Ride, Rock it! Dh, Kia and Gavin wanted to try it. Caiden would have been all for it but was a little to short so we took up a spot on the grassy area and DH took Gavin first.
Gavin came off a little scared but all in all he said he liked it. Braver boy than me! Kia went with DH next and they got the front seat. My poor girl cried she was so scared but 5 minutes later wanted to go again!!
This is where I'll leave off since thats all the pic I have. Hopefully Kia still has her pics on the camera or I'll have to figure out a way to get them from her puter to mine. I'll be back though. 1 1/2 days to go.

The smile of Gavin's face is priceless - it's making me smile as I type. I love seeing what a good time you all had.

I had really wanted to see the Mardi Gras parade but we decided to just head over to IOA. I dont remember what time they closed but I know it was getting late. Well that long walk between the two parks (which really isnt that long) just did it in for Gavin. It had been a long day and he started getting pretty crabby. Dh decided to just head back to the village. Now I'll admitt I got a little crabby at this point thinking this was our last real day to do anything and we were going to miss IOA and Epcot! And I really wanted to see the Harry Potter land. So I let it get the better of me and pouted. Bad mommy I know.
