Gas - what did yours do overnight???

See, I knew it'd be a "catchy" post title

Yesterday when I went home from work our gas was 1.39 and this morning when I came into work it was 1.54 at the same station I went by last night....there was a post either last week or the week before asking about gas prices and I had commented about what they do here....it's a long weekend and people might be traveling (kids are out of school and most places are closed on Monday) and alot of college students will go home this weekend - alot of times they raise gas prices here in our town to compensate for all the traveling that will go on today.

So how is the gas in your town today?

It was still $1.42 when I drove into work this morning (which is what it's been for a week or so).

How bout airfare from dulles to mco... supposedly good til 1/20, jumped from $166.50 to $226 overnight!!!

$1.63 steady for the last few weeks.

I noticed that gasoline was still $1.39 a gallon when I drove past a station yesterday afternoon around 3PM. When I drove by again at 6PM, the price was $1.48. I guess it just took them a little time to catch up with the other stations.
