gas prices how much ?

I will be renting a car end of may trying to see how much the cheap gas is? Is there such a thing as cheap anymore lol.

I just paid $3.83 a gallon for gas yesterday near Disneyland so the answer is "no" there is no such thing as cheap gas anymore!

Gas out here in Venice is at 4.00 plus.. It changes every day by .05-.10 it seems.

If you have a Costco membership, you can get gas there. I paid $3.79 for gas yesterday here in the SF bay area at Costco.

Yeah I would expect up there near that $4 mark. Where we are it's $3.75. So I expect it to be way more in California when we go. I saved an extra $100 for gas on this trip, when we did last year! It's really out of hand.

I fly from utah because it is almost cheaper to do then drive. There is only 3 of us so the cost is close now if I had 5 kids I could see driving there instead.

So over 4 bucks a gallon come memorial day ?

Im flying into burbank tried to save money on airfare well I did but rent a car is way more there then long beach. In the end it is about the same so come oct Im going to long beach not a far drive at all.

Just make sure you fill that rental up before taking it back, if you don't you'll pay more like $6-7 a gallon!

My Wife and I have also found that its cheaper for us to fly to DL than to drive. Gas prices are RIDICULOUS!

In Orange and LA Counties I am paying about $4.00 per gallon and it will keep rising all over the country for the next few months until it hits about $4.75 a gallon. Cheap and gas no longer can be reasonalbly ever used together again.

I paid $4.18 for regular unleaded in Oakland last week and it wasn't even a nice part of town. I think the gas prices will continue to rise for the next couple years until it gets to like $6-7 a gallon and then the economy will collapse under the weight of oil company and OPEC greed.

For our upcoming road trip, I used GasBuddy.com to help me plan where to stop for gas. The price has been raising steadily since we decided to drive instead of fly. It is still slightly cheaper, but only if I drive straight through. If I stop for an overnight rest, it would be cheaper to fly.

I wanted to just buy plane tickets when I found a great rate about seven weeks ago, but both of my DS's said they really wanted to take the road trip. At that point, driving was still cheaper by a couple of hundred. If I would have locked in that price, it would have saved me money over driving now, even with having to rent a car for our days in SD!!! It's absolutely ridiculous, imo.

I drove around practically on fumes this week to find the cheapest gas- did find $3.81 at an Arco, about 10 cents less than most other stations in the area here in So Cal. You bet there was a line! I am seeing plenty of $4's now.

I just bought myself a little gas-sipper car for city driving instead of my SUV. I got a '72 VW Bug! Gets almost 30 mpg and was super super cheap to buy. No car payment for me.

Paid $3.83 in Orange County over the weekend, same price to fill the rental near LAX on Monday. Some stations, such as Shell were at $3.93. Arco across from DLP was under $3.80 but I was told you must pay cash or there is a debit card fee per transaction. No credit cards taken.
