I have been walking and using my phone with the MiCoach app. It tracks my workout with gps, plays my music and tells me every half mile what speed I am going. The only thing I don't like about it is you have to unlock it to look at the screen and check the time. Just wondering what everyone else likes and why?
Thanks

I've only ever used my Garmin & ipod when running. I love my watch. I can glance at it for my distance, pace, etc.. I can also wear my heartrate monitor and keep track of that as well on my Garmin if I want to. It's all I've known and what I'm use to - but I've never thought about changing.

I recently got a reconditioned Garmin -- and I love it! It keeps track of my speed, heart rate, distance, etc. and is much smaller than lugging my iPhone (which I once dropped. And broke.:sad2:). I use an iPod nano for my tunes. A much sturdier, lighter and less-tangely set up!
