Garden Wing Requests..CR Newbie..Help Please!

I just had to change our ressies from the Poly to the Contemporary. We have a garden view room reserved. What requests can you CR experts suggest. I have already requested Non-Smoking because of my DW's allergies, and that we be placed in the North Wing.

What else would be good to request.

Is there a specific area in the Garden Wing better than others.

We are a little bummed out about not staying at the Poly, but are getting really excited about the Contemporary.

Sounds like you are on your way! We have stayed in the north garden wing several times and have had great rooms with wonderful views. Ask when you check in if you can face the MK side or the bay but not parking lot or boat deck area. We usually could see the water parade at night and watched deer and rabbits in the morning from our window

We loved our stay in the North wing. It was very quiet. We could see the MK fireworks from our window. The north wing is also closer to the bus stop. But it is a tad bit futher from the pool. I believe all the smoking rooms are in the South wing.

We were on the 2nd floor, abt 1/2 way down.

We have stayed in the tower two times, the last time we had garden wing reserved and they bumped us up to the tower, so you may get lucky and have that happen.

I found a copy of the map at www.intercot.com and pasted it below. You can look it over and then decide which area you like best, based on whether you want to be near the pools or away from everything.

I had room 7374 in the North wing...View of parking lot!

My only suggestion is that if you like to sit outside, get a room on the 1st floor...I was thinking the Rooms were like the Poly and the 3rd floor would have balconys...but they do not...only a rail outside the slider. I really enjoying sitting outside with a nitecap!

We had room 5111 in the South Wing on our trip in 2000 and it was great. We prefer the South Wing because of the pool - we could walk right out from the patio and it was just steps away.

DH and I had room 8217, a North Garden room.

It faced the bay and it was very quiet and pretty. The only complaint I have was some noisy neighbors moved in above us our second-to-last night and made some terrible noise. Otherwise, I would definitely stay there again.
