Garden Walk.....

Has anyone been to the new Garden Walk? Can you tell us what's there and if it's worth a trip over that way? Where exactly is it located from the DLR area?

The Garden Walk is an outdoor mall. It has a lot of GREAT places to eat, Bubba Gump, CA Pizza Kitchen, PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, etc etc but that's really the only reason we go there. It's not far from DL at all so if you have some downtime head over.

I am going to be staying at the HOJO. Is that too far a walk you think?

Personally, I wouldn't walk from the HoJo, I'd drive and just park.

Any stores? Is it south on Harbor?

It's an outdoor, so yes, stores. You can do a search for garden walk anaheim and you'll find the site, it will list the restaurants and stores that are there. I don't directions well so if you're staying on Harbor and DL is across the street from you the GW is to your left. LOL Sorry, I'm directionally challenged, seriously.......lol

We will be at the HoJo too. Here's a link to the ART maps that shows the HoJo at the top, and Gardenwalk. It does look like it would be a decent walk. All ART buses go there except #10 and 11, according to their map here:

The sitdown restaurants are about the only real draw for the place. Cheesecake Factory and Bubba Gump's tend to be the most crowded most of the time.

It's an outdoor mall that's struggling to find tenants. They have a movie theater that serves beer and a "high-end" bowling alley. There's also a 24-hour fitness sport in there.

If you're walking from hojo, it may be a bit far, but if you do you can follow Manchester around the back of the Pumbaa lot, which turns into Clementine, then turn right on Disney Way to get to the walkway entrance of the mall. Coming from DL, you would walk out the Lion King Tram pickup zone to Harbor Blvd, cross the street and turn right. Then turn left on Disney Way. The pedestrian entrance will be on your right, across the street from the driveway entrance into the Pumbaa Lot.
