Garden rocks concerts

I see that they have three showings most nights for the garden rocks concerts. Do the bands usually play the same songs each set or do they usually save their best songs for the last set?

The 3 sets usually are "mostly" different songs.

The Bands don't necessarily hold all their big hits for the 3rd set.

If a Band only has 1 or 2 big hits,they "may" play them in more than one set.

The setlists DO seem to stay the same from night to night.

We've often gone to more than one show of a group that we really like, and we've found that all the shows are pretty much alike. Same songs, same "patter," same jokes, etc., maybe one or two different songs in each show. But there doesn't tend to be much variation, and none of the groups I've seen have ever saved anything special for the last show.

I agree, they tend to not save the big stuff for the last show. It's been noted that the most heavily attended is usually the FIRST show, and the attendance goes down for the last two, unless it's somebody ultra popular.

If they have a lot of numbers in their repertoire you will see them distributed through all the shows. If the band has one or two major hits they usually play those in more than one set.

I remember Dennis DeYoung refused to repeat anything from set to set, so if you were looking for something specific from him (he's not in Garden Rocks this year but he was there last year), you might have to go to all the shows...
