Garden Grocer question

DD is going to order from Garden Grocer this time (since she isn't renting a car).

We've never done this before so we're not sure how it works.

i understand that Garden Grocer delivers the order to Disney resort bell services.

Does Bell Services refrigerate it until it's delivered to your room?

we're wondering as she'd like to order milk and a few other dairy products that will need refrigeration if it's not brought to the room right away.

Yes. Cold items go in the fridge, frozen in the freezer. Also, if she orders sixty days in advance there is a discount. On my four hundred dollar order, it worked out to about fifty dollars. They are great!

she's going next sunday - so no 60 day discount!!

she mainly wants it to order lots of water and milk/cereal/bagels for breakfast.
Plus some stuff like shampoo/conditioner that she'd rather not pack in her suitcase.

we usually drive to walgreens or winn dixie to get stuff, but she won't have a car - so garden grocer seems to be a great alternative!!

Yes just book a slot maybe an hour or so after your flight lands and then by the time you get on ME and to your resort it will be there not long before you arrive,

We have used them a coupe of times and it was great got snacks etc and shampoo etc as well saved on luggage space.

Our resort was great (YC) They kept our order for a few hours as we went straight out after arriving, their was a message waiting for us on the phone, we called them up and it arrived in our room within ten minutes. He forgot some of the fridge stuff, was very apologetic and went back down and got it straight away. We love GG

I've used GG several times and I never knew that you can get a discount for ordering early! So thanks for posting this!

I've never used it before, but plan on using it. Thanks for the info on discount- is it automatically applied ?

Yes - and they do have lesser discounts for those of us that leave it a little closer. We ordered last night for our trip at the end of the month and received a 5% discount.

i ended up using a different company, not garden grocer.

I tried placing the order more than a week in advance, but they didnt' have any times.
it could only be delivered late on the next day so i didn't use them

i googled and found another company called Orlando Grocery Express.

They were great!! DD just sms'd that they got the grocery delivery already the moment they got to their room. Everything exactly as i ordered it.
So we're very pleased with the service.

just as with garden grocer, the food was delivered to bell services and bell services then delivered it to DD's room
