I usually use garden grocer. I've only had positive experiences. But I was wondering if wegoshop is cheaper? I usually order breakfast foods, pasta, butter, wine etc. I don't need that much food because we enjoy getting the meal plan. Based on this should I stick with garden grocer? Thoughts?

We have used Garden Grocers with no problems several times but just last week had a major issue with them. They did resolve it but only after 2 phone calls and a couple of e-mails back and forth.
I had checked out our cart and this process went OK and my CC was charged. The next day I went to add missed item and notice my cart had all the items I order back in my cart but the dollar count was $0.00. I then noticed there were many items in my cart I had not ordered, I.E. diapers, baby wipes cheeses and meats and some laundry detergents and other items. They ended up having to manually empty my cart and said they were not sure what went wrong but will investigate. I have since checked my account and cart several times to ensure this does not happen again....smj

We love wegoshop simply because they'll shop wherever you want (We've had them shop at both Super Target and Publix) I feel they are slightly cheaper in that they charge you only what the actual cost is & a small delivery fee based on the amount you buy.

Another question to those who have used garden grocer. Are you limited to what is on the order form or can you request items that are not listed? I noticed there were 0 fresh veggies and very few fruits available and am wondering if i ask for grapes or a bag a carrots etc if I can get them.

This is good to know thanks! BTW, I LOVE your Burberry plaid Mickey ;)

That's odd, we were just there in February and there were plenty of fresh fruit and vegetable options available when we placed our order. My wife and I are vegan and we had a lot of great fresh produce delivered when we arrived (carrots, celery, apples, pears, berries, bananas, etc.). I was nervous as I am very picky about my apples, pears, etc. when I choose them and GG did a great job, they were all great quality!

But I also remember that the website did allow you to ask for things not on their list.

GG cuts their cost by stocking many of the items on their list, fresh items may not always be in stock. If they have to go somewhere to buy your items your price can really increase. We ordered a small roast once, they bought it from target and bumped the sticker price by $10.

Between inflated prices, tips, order issues, we decided to rent a car for a day and do our own shopping where we want, when we want.

We've ordered from the Garden Grocer for every trip we've taken in the past four years and everything has been perfect in every way. We do not want to take time from our vacation to rent a car and shop..... we are at Disney to relax and enjoy. Yes.... the prices are not what you get at home, but then again, we expect to pay more. We save money by using their service and they've never disappointed us. In fact..... we are going to enjoy their service in just 20 days at BWV!

We have done both. Found garden grocer increased their prices for this trip. Disney was actually cheaper for a few items

That being said both services were fine but I prefer garden grocer. While I agree that you are generally limited to what they have at least you know what your total is. We are from NY so don't have r same grocery stores as FL. When we did wego shop I had no idea what my total was going to be until it was delivered. So items were substituted which was ok but given the substitute would have skipped the item all together. To me I prefer knowing my cost up front so I can adjust my order if I want

Price wise they ended up being pretty close. Have done my own shopping too as we usually rent a car. For the little bit of money we saved wasn't worth the time out of our day to shop

I always use Garden Grocer. I usually order fresh strawberries for breakfasts, I think they may be "market price" and the price varies week to week depending on the supplier so that may be why the price isn't listed on some fresh produce. :confused3 The berries have always been listed as an item on the website.
