Garden Grill.... Anyone there recently?

Is the restaurant revolving? I read some posts that it was broke down at times. My son will probably have a meltdown if it is not moving. This was the only meal that he really wanted to do. I called them about a week ago and they said that nothing is noted about it and she supposedly called and said all is fine.

We ate there this past Sunday and the restaurant was definately revolving. We actually went around 1.5 times in less than an hour - it seemed faster than I remembered it!

We ate there on 6-30 and it was definately revolving - so cool! We didnt even notice the movement, then all of a sudden we were seeing new things!

This was by far our best meal at WDW this past trip, and the character interaction was fabulous!!!

I completely agree with you! I think the characters came around 3 times during our last dinner there and we really didn't stay super long either.

In 2006 we did almost all of the character meals for the first time with my DS16, who didn't seem to mind. The Garden Grill was great. We really enjoyed the atmosphere plus the food was like home cooking.

We went last Saturday and we were quite surprised to find out that it was indeed a revolving restaurant... it was different nice, although if you kept still...you'll start getting a little dizzy...ha ha ha, but it was fun nontheless! and we saw chip,dale and mickey!

Great! I am glad to hear it is still revolving. My son gets really car sick sometimes but that restaurant never bothered him or myself. We had a great time there and cannot wait to get back again!
