What years did you serve in 'Nam? DH was there 12/69-2/71 around Chu Lai.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I was laid low by the Flu (I even had the flu shot. Now my whole family is on prophylactic doses of Tamiflu). I was at Chu Lai from August 68 to September 69. I was in MAG 13, VMFA-323 and VMFA-314 (Marine Air Wing).

The flu hit DD too a few weeks ago...she also had a flu shot! DGD "started" it in mid-January but Tamiflu is the "wonder drug". DGD was back to normal in 48 hours!
Your service in 'Nam kinda fits in the "Small World" catagory with DH ; both of you serving around Chu Lai. He was Army-196th LIB-radio operator most of the time. Purple Heart from shrapnel but his "most remembered" scary moment was when his antenna was shot off...about 1/2" from his helmet! As I've told many Vietnam Vets...thank YOU for your service.
