Hi Debbie, I don't know but have you tried looking on the Walmart site? I looked on there for the new Videonow thingys and they had loads more choice of colours than you get here.

Am I right in thinking the DS has been released in the USA already? If so do you know anything about the adaptors, will you need to buy another over here and will they be compatable?
Have heard a lot about the DS and at £90 sounds like a very good buy!

It was released in the US earlier this month but from what I can see they've run out! I'm hoping they get some more in in the next fortnight!

They are out over there now but, as with the new, smaller PS2 released in the UK, most have been snapped up already I never understand why companies like Sony & Nintendo do this, they release a product that they know will sell yet they don't make enough to meet the demand.

Apart from a new gridiron shirt when I go back in Feb '05, a Nintendo DS will be on my shopping list!

sounds like basic economics to me----- they create artificially high demand by restricting the numbers available. then after everyone has paid way over the top prices just to be the first to have one they'll flood the market and drop the price a little and BOOM---- they sell loads more coz people are 1/ Still waiting and 2/convinced that they've got a bargain coz the price has dropped! Sorry to sound cynical but studied Economics A-level in the 80's and the same rules still hold good. Now i'm still waiting for global communism where everything is going to cost next to nothing to make and costs very little to buy LOL!!!

regarding adapters - since of course the adapter that came with the gameboy didn't work on 220, we had to buy a 220 adapter once we got back from the states...
